Nice looking and comfortable (or they will be when I get them in the correct size). Do not trust the Zappos shoe conversions but trust the standard conversion (i.e., size 8 is a size 38, not size 39 as listed).

I ordered these shoes based on the comfort of a pair of Haflinger slippers I own. I ordered a size 38 (I normally wear a 39) after reading the reviews that I had read about the shoe running large. They were not only large, they were huge! I made the mistake of wearing them with a very thick pair of socks out of doors and can't return them. They are so wide that I can barely keep them on my feet and I have a wide foot. Even with an extra insole in them they are too floppy. Additionally, the stitching inside is rough and irritating. Big mistake on my part!

This clog is a 5 star shoe when it fits properly. I am so unhappy because I have now tried the 38 (toes crunched, heel barely in) and the 39 (toes sliding everywhere, heel with 1 inch too much room). I have always worn a 38, which was always a U.S. size 8. I still have 3 pairs of Haflinger clogs, size 38, that fit perfectly which I bought about 5 years ago. Now, there is no size that fits. What in the world happened with the Haflinger sizing?! And what will I do without my clogs when my 3 pairs finally wear out?

I've had my Haflingers for at least six years now and they look good as new. other felted shoes have developed weak spots and eventually needed to be replaced, but these slippers have held up and haven't broken or pilled. They are great to wear around the house and I occasionally wear them outside and to run a quick errand. A great shoe/slipper.

This is my second pair of Haflinger slippers. Yes, they are expensive, but they are so worth it. I love these. I wear them every day from fall all the way to spring. I get sweaty feet very quickly but these manage to keep my feet warm, comfortable and not sweaty at all. Highly recommend them.

Yes! comfortable, supportive arch, cork sole, soft wool upper all met my demands for a comfortable supportive slipper around the house. Nice neutral look and 39 for my usual size 9 foot worked.
