These slippers surround your foot in wool. If you prefer wool, these will be great. Breathable, warm, soil and odor resistant, etc. Good durable rubber outsole, extends wear nicely. I found the instep cut a bit low (I have high insteps). But they are stretching/ conforming to my foot with wear, so this is okay. The fabric is pretty good quality, I have a pair that is a couple years old and they are in good shape except the stitching failed, suddenly unraveled the full length of the main seam down the center, requiring repair. Otherwise, I am very happy that this product is available, as it is. I usually wear men's US shoe sizes 10.5-11, and the EU size 45 fits me.

I just got these slippers to make my occasionally dislocating pinky toe more comfortable and safe. They look and feel great, but my husband and I found some streaky black marks left on all the hardwood and linoleum floors in our apartment. Not good. Having thrown out the box and receipt, they're mine, so I'm working on jury-rigging a solution. Be forewarned: the hard sole leaves a rubbery trace if you pivot ever so slightly or accidentally catch an edge as you stroll!

So disappointed in this slipper; we've had our old ones with cork soles for years and these are not what I expected. Very narrow and I'd hardly say it is a classic hardsole!

I'm wearing them right now! They are my indoors shoes. Especially for cooler weather, they're snug and warm, a step above slippers. There's no breaking in, the wool upper is stretchy. I wear with various socks. I have a narrow foot with socks the M width fits fine. Totally pleased with this purchase, and would recommend highly.

My husband loves these slippers! He's worn them every night and every morning since they arrived. Haflingers are great, comfortable, and we've both owned Haflinger slippers before, but it's been a while. Next time I need slippers, I'm going back to Haflingers, and of course, Zappos.

I love these slippers. They're warm and feel like a real shoe because of the nice arch support. I like to wear my slippers big (to accommodate wearing a sock) but these are a snug fit. I'd order a 1/2 size up next time.

My partner has had no slippers since I've known him (15 years!); he was always walking around the house in his socks. I kept urging him to get slippers, and every time we saw any in a store, he'd say he didn't like them. My son told me about Zappos (which he has), and I considered getting them, but thought they were too expensive. A few months later, after no action on my partner's part, I decided he deserved some expensive very good slippers and got them for his birthday. He loves them! (And no more filthy socks or cold feet!)

Everything one expects from the original version, but with a sole that can handle short jaunts outdoors. Easy to slip on and off, and the sole isn't too thick lick some others that don't flex. The one drawback which prevented five stars in rating is the sole's material. It leaves scuff marks on hardwood floors. An anti-marking material, and perhaps a little cushioning to offset the change in material, might be in order. Overall a great option.

I love these slippers! I've been wearing them for years. They have great arch support, the boiled wool keeps foot temperature regulated, and the flexible soles mean I can go out to get the newspaper in the morning without having to think. They also wash well on the wool cycle. Let them air dry over a day or two and you're set! It was time to replace my old pair so I ordered two more.

Very comfortable house shoe, I have a lot of foot pain and usually wear orthotics in my shoes. This is a very good solution for around the house footwear. This is my second pair of this brand. One thing to note, after these break in a few days they loosen up a pretty good amount, so give 'em time.

These are great shoes, I've had 3 pairs in total and each pair has lasted for years; they're really well made and comfortable. Although they do stretch over time I recommend ordering up a size--I'm a 7 1/2 and need a 39.

I love these slippers! This is my second pair. They last a long time. I finally got holes in the toes. They are a perfect temperature for summer and winter. Boiled wool is the best. They have a rubber? Sole that allows you to wear them outside too. Oh, and if you have bad feet, needing arch support these work.

Pretty good arch support, well-made and yes, you can walk out to get the mail or pull the garbage can down to the street! I ordered a nine and they are true to size and fit my slightly wider than "B" feet because the wool fabric has a bit of give.

These are a bit short and tight around the binding top. I realize they will stretch a bit as I have had several pairs of the ones without soles. But with a sole, I suspect they will not stretch as much.

These are the most comfortable slippers! I resisted wearing slippers for years because I found them to be uncomfortable or too hot. These slippers keep my feet warm but they are breathable enough to wear even during the summer months.

These slippers are the best I've every had. They have a good arch, and are very warm. The snow is great if you need to go outside.

There are other boiled wool shoes on the market, but nothing wears like a Haflinger! You'll own these puppies for years. Boiled wool breathes so the slippers are warm without making your feet sweaty. Hard soles mean you can dash outside to grab the morning paper. Don't worry if the fit is a little snug at first as the wool stretches to conform to your feet. When they feel too loose, throw them in the washer on a cold water setting and air dry. They'll shrink right back to their original size.
