First I must say Zappos is the very best place to shop! The shipping is Very fast I can not believe how fast in less than 12 hours my messenger was at my door. The customer service is like none I have ever experienced in my life. Everyone is so friendly nice and so helpful. The messenger is just what I have been searching for.Not to big not to small just right. I didn't want one of those huge messengers being under 5 feet tall big bags make me look like I am carrying luggage.I didn't want to have to dig and rummage around to find my things. This messenger is deep enough to carry all I need. A wallet full size.. my kindle, glasses, change purse the usual bunch of papers I tend to collect.pens, coupon holder. With room to spare if I need it.Now that it is winter I'll be able to sling this messenger cross body and not have to worry about carrying my somewhat expensive purse in the snow. The messenger is waterproof. The velcro is nice and tight no worries about getting your things wet. I just love this messenger. I say if your looking for a middle size messenger that is not to tall or long but has good depth. Buy them. Thanks Zappos for another awesome experience.
Nice bag but the Safari color is not tan, but an olive green color. I am returning it and have reordered the same bag in the sunset color.
The bag is pretty good, but it doesn't have as many compartments that I would have liked to have. I think it looks pretty cool and manly. I also am now a Zappos VIP and will be logging in to that URL.
I bought the Inyo 35 (Size S - Mariposa) to take with me on a 4 week trip to SE Asia. I was concerned about fit mostly, as I am 4'10" and most backpacks are never a comfortable fit for me. I wanted to write a review for other people who might have the same problem. Definitely make sure you measure your torso before purchasing, it is super important! The size S is perfect for my 17 inch torso, and the color is awesome. The way the straps are positioned make it comfortable around the chest area, too. There are a lot of straps so that you can adjust everything to make it snug as well.
Love this duffel. it looks and feels quite sturdy. The 45 L size is perfect for a week of light pack of clothes or for the gym. In fact if you do not pull the upper edges down with the straps, it can look like a nice tote style oversized bag. Somewhat like this tennis bag (http://www.zappos.com/adidas-by-stella-mccartney-tennis-bag-gravel-grey). And I really like that, if heavy, I can carry it around as a backpack too. Love the versatility.
Overall, this seems like a good quality pack. The XS is one of the few packs out there that's a decent volume, but small enough to fit my 14.5" torso. I ended up comparing it to the Osprey Zip, which is a kids' pack. This pack is noticeably larger. The side stretch pockets could hold my fat 1L bottle, as could the Zip. The lumbar support was much better for weight distribution, and I did get some ventilation on the back (but less than the Zip). The straps were more comfortable than most of the other backpacks I've tried that didn't really fit, but not as comfortable as the felt-lined thin straps on the Zip, and not good for me to keep the pack. I think maybe I just don't like thick padded straps, plus the material is a little rough. In the end, I went with the Zip, though I think that the Cirque wouldn't have been okay, too.
this pack is well made and appears the perfect little pack, except for the pockets on the waist strap. They stick out too much so when I walk my arms rub against them which is annoying. It's fine for biking. If you want to use this for walking purposes I would get a different pack.
I compared all the top competitors. Deva or Baltoro for guys is without debate the most comfortable! Easiest to pack/unpack. Best access and most pockets. There is only one reason not to buy this pack. Zappos was the only place I could get this pack in this size. Everyone else was out of stock.
This is a great ventilated pack. Works almost like a top loader but is a panel loader (I hate top loader in small size bags). No idea why companies make top loader in 30l and under packs. Top pocket can store a ton of stuff. Hip belt is actually padded! A lot of pockets for organization. The airspace behind the mesh is not super curved like most packs which means more room for your gear. Here come the cons... Sorry, no idea how to scroll on iPad. A whistle would be nice on sternum strap. The shoulder straps are one of the worst I have used. It does not lay flat on me, it lifts up unless I wear it at the edge of my shoulders which then it will fall off. It is suppose to be auto fitting, whatever that means. There is a lumbar support pad which is only okay. It has a slot for your spine but can be a problem unless the pack is perfectly centered. It might be better if it was a softer foam?
Absolutely love this pack. I was looking for something that wasn't too bulky so I could use it for everyday...around town with my kids, or on a short day hike. This fits the bill. You can carry a change of clothes, a light jacket and plenty of room for snacks and water. As a diaper bag (the role it serves during the week!) I'm able to keep changes of clothes for two kids, diapers & wipes, snacks, drinks, first aid and sunscreen. Highly recommended for those looking for a versatile pack that doesn't weigh you down. I even forget I have it on sometimes!
Great backpack. Seems like it will hold up well. I'm able to hold a tripod in the spot where the pad usually rolls up into, and I can keep my thermarest z-lite strapped vertically with the top wrap around buckle. Compared to my friend's Baltoro from the year before this one holds more and is made of stronger materials. Suspension seems to be similar.
Bomb proof - this bag is it. Extreme heavy duty. Tough buckles. With the daisy chain straps it can be mounted on top of a car, dog sled or a yak. Top and internal compression straps are handy for carry-on or checked luggage. I love the three carrying methods- backpack with padded lid for back comfort, shoulder strap and handles. All removable. The bag also has a very nice sheen to it. It looks slick and professional. Photos don't do it justice. The brand name and logo are subtle unlike it's contender with North Face screaming for attention. This bag will travel the world and last a lifetime full of abuse. Again, bomb proof with class.
