These shoes are not comfortable. When I first tried them on they were fine, but when I actually walked long distances in them they gave me a heel blister and hurt the tops of my feet. They are supposed to be trail runners? You can\'t even walk in them let alone run in them!

These are very comfortable right out of the box; no break in needed. I like the way they look, too. I needed waterproof and something with stability for a variety of surfaces for my morning walks. Now I'm wearing mostly boots but for a while we were having lots of rainy and sometimes icy weather and these were great for that. We'll have it again so these will get a lot of use.

I purchased these shoes for a trip to Edinburgh, Scotland, where I'd be walking around the cobblestone streets of the Old Town touring castles and hiking through the Highlands , all in damp/rainy/cold weather. These shoes were perfect for both city and rugged environments, and super comfortable! They came with an optional insert to help if you have narrow width feet, as well as the ability to remove an insert to fit wide with feet. This is a great shoe!

They took a couple of days to break in, but now they're perfectly comfortable. I work in a laboratory, so I had to have slip-resistant. These are really good when I'm outside on snow/ice, but water on the linoleum is kind of slippery still. They're really comfortable and I'm on my feet and walking all day.

GoLite is exactly what I got, these shoes are so comfortable and so light, the arch support really helps to not have tired achy feet at the end of the day. I play a lot of disc golf and walking eighteen holes never felt better than in my GoLite shoes. I would recommend these to anyone that needs shoes that feel good all day long.

This is a well constructed shoe. Good for walking on rough surfaces. Very wide in the toe, so needed the thicker insole provided. The leather arch at the opening is cut a bit too high so it hits the inside of the foot near the ankle. Needs to be broken in a bit.

Nice looking shoe. Very comfortable...except for the collar; there is no padding around the collar, so I wasn't crazy about this shoe. I liked the customizable insoles (clever idea!) and the soles (excellent grip). But the lack of padding on the top of the shoe was enough for me to return the shoe for a refund.

I liked the customized width, and my size (9) fit. But the shoe was very stiff -- not just not flexible, but stiff. I can see where it would be great for walking, but my old feet are too sensitive to be happy in the shoe. Also it looked bulkier on than in the picture.

This shoe runs very narrow. It comes with directions to remove inserts to make it wider but this shoe still runs narrow. I gave it 3 stars but I can't even rank it because it was so tight and uncomfortable. If you have a narrow foot it might be great.
