Looks great, but buy insoles... The shoes look great with a nice pair of jeans. You absolutely must buy insoles from a company like Dr. Scholl's. Otherwise you're destined for pain.

Love the shoes, very comfortable, and look great. The only issue is the extremely strong smell of gas that they had brand new. I've had them for about a month now, wear them every day to work, and they still have a hint of the smell. Not sure how to get rid of it. It's strong enough to give me headaches sometimes. Other than that, fantastic shoe!

Great product == reasonably priced. I had been looking for some black casual boots for my husband, similar to a pair he had years ago and loved. I finally found them at your website. His foot is wide, and I was looking for a wide width. However, I looked at previous reviews and saw where customers stated these boots seemed to fit a little large. So I ordered the medium width--and they fit perfectly. He is really enjoying the boots--wants to wear them everywhere he goes. Also appreciated your fast service--they came in two days before Christmas!! Thank you.

Great boots - Excellent boot for the dough. It does have a "gasoline" smell that I hope will diminish over time. My only complaint is that they are actually a deep burgundy and not exactly brown. But I do plan on buying a black pair.

Overall Great! I actually bought these boots in the black and the brown and really like them. The comfort isn't perfect but overall is good. My only wish is that the heels were a little higher.

Good Value, Nice looking shoe... Good looking, fits well, although felt a big larger than marked - it may be due to the width. A little wider than expected. Overall I am happy except for the terrible petroleum like smell. Not sure why it is like this - I am still waiting for this to go away.

Black side-zip dress boots - Love the boots! One strange thing is that something in the process of manufacturing left a strong "creosote" smell especially when they warm up after wearing a while. It is noticeable but not objectionable to me. My wife just happened to notice the other day when I had my feet elevated in the recliner. And she just asked, "What is that strange smell"?

Nice for the price - For the price, these are very nice shoes. Leather appears to be quality, and the fit is true to size. But read the other reviews regarding the smell. They weren't kidding! They have a distinct gasoline smell to them that does not appear to be wearing off. I've had these shoes for almost a month now, and they still reek.

They Smell But They’re a Nice Boot! I read the reviews prior to making my purchase. Most people were saying something about the smell. It’s true; the stench is unbearable if you’re sensitive to that kind of thing. It smells like a combination of shoe polish, glue and gasoline! I didn’t think it would be so pungent. I set my first pair in front of a furnace vent and after about a week the smell is almost gone. On the other hand, I like these boots so much I bought 2 more pair; I have the black, brown and wine now. The reason is simple: price, fit and appearance. I have boots that cost 3 times what the Giorgio Brutini 66014’s cost and I don’t like them as much. They are wider than you would expect but that’s what I wanted. Most of the higher price boots were constricting in some way related to width but not these; for me (and I have a narrow foot) they fit perfectly. Most important is the appearance. You have to like the way they look. I’ve tried all the more expensive varieties and for me these rank number 1 in terms of appearance with the 6� shaft and slightly rounded toe. At first glance my impression was that the interior of this boot wasn’t constructed with the meticulous attention to detail like the more expensive boots. In the end, who cares for this price?

Nice boots - Wanted a boot that I could use for smart casual as well as dress. These seem to fit the bill. They are comfortable. A little odd creasing when wearing in. Other than that, a decent boot.
