Wow! There's a reason that 80+ individuals have ranked these shoes with a 5 Star rating. Great shoes. Fit like a glove and didn't need to stretch them to slid my feet in. Very attractive shoe that fits my wide feet well. Awkwardly, I did have a glue-like residue near where my toes would lay that kept the crumpled papers inside? Not sure if they intended for the glue to be there or not. I rubbed the glue out and was fine.

Shoes arrived within 2 days of ordering. Loved the shoes. Beautiful leather inside and out. True to size. May be a little tight, but will stretch out and be fine. I bought 1 pair for my 29 year old son and liked them so much that I ordered brown and black for my husband. The only thing that my son said that was a negative to him was that they were a little more shiny than he prefers (meaning dressier than he likes). Other than that he loved them!!! Very high end imported looking.

I am reading some of the reviews and these shoes are Class A. If you are a classy dresser you will love them. If you are not then you are perhaps used to thicker shoes. This shoe is for the classy dressers only, you cannot wear this with wide leg jeans or tacky slacks. These shoes feel great! But more importantly they look fantastic! These are winners across the board. No they are not the most comfortable shoes but if comfort is what you seek then these shoes are not for you! Once again these are not for a tacky person to wear!

It took a week or so to break them in but after that, they were very comfortable. Lots of compliments on the shoes. They kind of look like cowboy boots but more stylish.

I purchased these shoes for my adult son as a Christmas gift. He went online with Zappos and saw them and thought they would be a great shoe so emailed me the link. I was a little concerned at first because after reading the other reviews I noticed that many said they were uncomfortable and tight. However, my son has narrow feet so I decided to order them anyway. He received them and has worn them on several occasions already and absolutely loves them and said they are very comfortable to wear.

What a great shoe! Even better, was the service. I took part in Zappos' order before 1 PST and receive your item before Christmas. Great customer awareness, and service! Back to the shoes...before I bought these, I saw a lot of reviews on them talking about their smell. Some of those reviews were pretty funny, others were pretty ridiculous. These shoes do have a smell, but so do all leather shoes. The smell is nothing unbearable or gross. These are my first pair of pointed loafers, and I had never tried any on in a store. These fit very true to the size of my foot, and are very comfortable to wear. I must have worn mine for 6 hours straight the first time I wore them. No achy feet. My one recommendation to those of you purchasing these, once you receive them, put them on and shuffle your feet across an abrasive surface. Scuff the bottoms up a bit, so you don't slip on your first smooth surface that you walk on.

Well as some others have commented, this shoe does have a pretty strong odor but some spray and a little break in will cure that in no time. The shoe itself is very nice looking and to me looks richer in color than it shows in the picture. Well worth the money!

After years of buying from Zappos, I convinced my husband to try it and now he's addicted too! These shoes arrived the next day, and my husband loves them! They have a gorgeous, slightly distressed color and are very comfortable. They can dress up and down equally well and he can wear them all day because they're so comfy. These shoes are hip! Stylish, chic, and very reasonably priced. Sure, there's a little discomfort while you're "breaking them in," but that's generally to be expected with any decent shoes. I saw a few random reviews talking about the smell - typical "new shoe smell" is no problem for me. Overall, I'm very satisfied and happy with these. And major props to Zappos for their excellent service!

I love these shoes. I wanted something with a bit of European style to it, and these did the trick. I ordered a black and brown pair. I ordered the size I always wear. The brown pair however does rub my pinkie toe a bit, but nothing major. No complaints!

These shoes are great! I needed them for a 17th-century Amsterdam-style costume, but they are chic even today. Well made, kept their shine through a 5-show run and several wearings since then. Take a little while but aren\'t too difficult to break in.

The picture of these shoes do not do them justice. They almost looked a little cheaply made but when I got them, they were very sharp looking. My husband really liked them and you can dress them up or wear them with jeans. I give them an A+

This is a great looking shoe with excellent value. It fits comfortably after breaking in. I would recommend going a 1/2 size larger due to how narrow it fits at the toes. This shoe gets many compliments.
