Breaking my black pair took 2 weeks of pain and blisters either side of my ankles, the leather is of poor quality and is extra hard. For this I resorted to wearing bandaids for cushioning. In normal wear and tear I scuffed near the toe of the shoe and the leather peeled straight off. The rear of the sole on both shoes fell off at the same time, 3 weeks after purchase.

Great value and quick delivery as you'd expect from Zappos. Nice fit, even for a wider than avg foot with high arches. 4-5 wearings for break-in time = fairly typical of shoes built to last . The "Tobacco" color is unique: more interesting than typical "flat" brown, with a slightly stressed look that's subtle, not cheesy. Works to dress up or dress down. Overall, for the price, you'll feel like you're getting away with something.

I bought these but sent them back. They looked cheap...almost like plastic boots. Wasn't a fan of them.

Wow! There's a reason that 80+ individuals have ranked these shoes with a 5 Star rating. Great shoes. Fit like a glove and didn't need to stretch them to slid my feet in. Very attractive shoe that fits my wide feet well. Awkwardly, I did have a glue-like residue near where my toes would lay that kept the crumpled papers inside? Not sure if they intended for the glue to be there or not. I rubbed the glue out and was fine.

Not a premium-quality shoe, but really excellent for the price. The sole is tan-colored rubber, which passes for leather at a distance. The shape of the shoe is really comfortable and supporting, with a soft insole that feels lumpy at first, but molds to the shape of your foot. I'm curious how well they'll stand up to daily pavement pounding, but after a week standing in front of a class they haven't disappointed.

Boots as described. Beautiful black leather. Gave as a gift and they were well received.

I was looking for a simple all-leather oxford. Very disappointed to see that there is actually a lot of canvas lining in the toe of the shoe.

I play in a Beatles band, and I must say that these boots are fabulous! They are as close as you can get to the real thing without breaking the bank. They are definitely more comfortable than the real thing. I would know that as I own the real thing. I wear them on and off stage. You need these boots!

This is a great shoe! Fits a little snug at first, but after about an hour, feels great. Seems to mold to your foot, very soft. The style is fantastic. Not over the top, but just the right amount of heel. Toe is not too pointed. Looks great with everything, especially jeans. Would highly recommend.

I really loved the boots, but after they arrived I found that the brown I ordered was almost black. Was really looking for a brown possibly tan. Return was no problem. Wish they were made in Tan as well would look awesome with jeans..

Nice looking shoe but the shoe is soft and wore out quickly on pavement.

These shoes are amazingly comfortable and definitely worth the price. The heel is made of plastic which tends to break or crack. I had it replaced with a rubber heel and they've lasted me quite a while. I'd say they're worth it to get and replace the heel.

Poor build quality. Insole became loose day 1 of wearing it. Returned. Look and style were great.

I love these shoes. The color is very similar to the picture however mine are less blotchy looking. I get compliments on them all the time. It took about 2 days of wearing them all day to break them in.

Bottom has no traction, can be very slippery if you're not careful. Felt slightly narrower than marked, but not uncomfortably so.

Overall, I am pleased with this item and my first experience with Zappos. These shoes are easy to put on, comfortable, and stylish. Not to mention the price is great. The tobacco color is great, however, it may be difficult to find a matching belt. I agree with other reviewers that the soles do not perform well on wet / slick floors. Also, they do scuff quite easily so it will be important to do regular maintenance with shoe polish. I have been wearing these shoes off and on for a couple months now and overall I am pleased with my purchase.

Shoes arrived on time. Perfect fit (size 9), for me it was a true 9 size. Very comfortable and they look very nice. A little bit weak protecting against low temperatures (below 40s). Shoe polish needed to maintain the brightness and great look.I have a nice arch/instep and the shoe doesn't hurt at all, but I cant put it on without hornshoe (limited expansion). I bought it on sale, very cheap. Great purchase!
