Deerskin lining- Gentle Souls´ shoes uses supple and breathable deerskin-lined insoles providing softness and comfort while conforming to the shape of your foot. It is durable and will not stretch or crack when wet. Deerskin is normally found on gloves, jackets or shoe uppers. The deerskin-lined insole is unique to Gentle Souls shoes and sandals!
Flaxseed Memory Pillows- Flaxseed pillows are embedded in the footbed of Gentle Souls shoes to mold to the shape of your foot and provide cushioned support. The flaxseed ¨memory pillows¨ are somewhat similar to beanbags as they redistribute and adjust to the shape of your foot with every step.
Padding- Under the deerskin lining there is a memory foam developed by NASA; Poron®. This foam does not break down and maintains its shape over time.
Granulated Cork- This layer located under the Poron® helps with shock absorption when walking on hard surfaces.
Rubberized Outsole- Sometimes fused with leather, rubberized outsoles are flexible and great for traction on hard surfaces.

This is seriously the most comfortable pair of sandals that I have ever bought. I seldom write reviews unless something is striking for me. These are worth the review. They fit perfectly and I am a general size 8 a little bit on the wide side with a narrow heel. I have had really good luck with the Gentle Souls brand and these are no exception. I bought the sand color and they make my legs look leaner and longer in skirts and shorts. I truly recommend them if you are looking for comfort, stablility and support in an on trend, cute pair of sandals.

These are gorgeous. They are soft, comfortable, just what you expect from Gentle Souls. However, you need really fat feet or a very high arch to wear them. They have left too much room for the top of the foot. Also, you cannot use the last hole in the strap as it is too wide there. I cannot make up my mind to keep them or not. I love the shoe, but they look too big even if they are not.

Great shoe! If you have slender feet, the top of the shoe may not fit tightly enough to feel secure. Generously sized. Not super light weight but not heavy. Gentle Souls make comfortable shoes.

Being a hair stylist, I always struggle to find attractive looking footwear that does not leave me crying by the end of the day. First impression right out of the box: Wow! The leather is insanely soft, the foot bed incredibly squishy, and they are stylish! I am not totally crazy about wedges, because I am very petite and I sometimes think they can look really clunky but somehow these just end up looking adorable.
I'd also recommend: Cordani

First let me rave about how great Zappos is: wanted this shoe, hemmed and hawed...(because I DO have alot of shoes)...and then they were sold out. Signed up to be notified if my size came back in, a Zappos service that I LOVE. Got the email, instantly bought the shoes, AND they were on sale. Sure it's November and I won't wear them until Spring, but I love them, they fit perfectly and are gorgeous. I hope Gentle Souls will repeat the style next year. And btw, I work in retail, and have had 2 foo surgeries, so comfort is as important as style to me. These shoes deliver! And Zappos delivers the best service EVER.
