Deerskin lining- Gentle Souls´ shoes uses supple and breathable deerskin-lined insoles providing softness and comfort while conforming to the shape of your foot. It is durable and will not stretch or crack when wet. Deerskin is normally found on gloves, jackets or shoe uppers. The deerskin-lined insole is unique to Gentle Souls shoes and sandals!
Flaxseed Memory Pillows- Flaxseed pillows are embedded in the footbed of Gentle Souls shoes to mold to the shape of your foot and provide cushioned support. The flaxseed ¨memory pillows¨ are somewhat similar to beanbags as they redistribute and adjust to the shape of your foot with every step.
Padding- Under the deerskin lining there is a memory foam developed by NASA; Poron®. This foam does not break down and maintains its shape over time.
Granulated Cork- This layer located under the Poron® helps with shock absorption when walking on hard surfaces.
Rubberized Outsole- Sometimes fused with leather, rubberized outsoles are flexible and great for traction on hard surfaces.

These sandals are exactly what I was looking for, very comfortable. No muss, no fuss. True to size, and a little cuter than plain flip-flops.

I was disappointed at the quality of the shoes. The foot bed was not as comfortable as I would have thought. When I tightened the top strap (which was way too loose) the toe strap pulled on the attachment area at the foot pad and created a small opening. This is the only thing I have ordered from Zappos that disappointed me...

The best sandals on the planet! I hope that Zappos restocks this style. Standing or walking all day in these is a pleasure. These might be a little wide for narrow feet. Goes well with shorts, dresses, leggings and dress slacks.
I'd also recommend: Gentle Souls- Day Break Merrell- Jungle Slide

This sandal is a little pricey, but overall comfort is great. Leather strap high on foot keeps this sandal from flip-flop effect. Wonderful for vacation touring or all day comfort at home.

This is a heavy thick brick of a flip flop with an annoying flopping sound as it hits your heel with every step. No arch support, and the string on the side did not tighten enough to stay on my foot. Poorly designed, it went back. Thanks Zappos!
