Gentle Souls is my 'go to' brand for comfort and style. But this sandal is just not as comfortable as my others. The padding and arch support isn't as cushy and by the end of a regular day in these, I feel the ground more than I should. They have also stretched out quite a bit. They are more comfy than many other regular sandals, but not quite sure if they are worth the price. Keeping them though as they are too worn to return.

The straps on these sandals are hugely baggy and do not even come close to fitting my normal size (not skinny) ankles. There is no way to adjust these sandals and they don't come in narrow. I have big feet (size 9) and the length is fine but the width is unacceptable. Too bad because they look so cute in the picture.

Ordered these last year in Pewter. Lived in them through the Fall. Comfy and practical because they worked with so many colors and styles. Ordered the black because I have like, a million black pants and skirts. These also work well with denim jeans. Love 'em!

I got these in pewter, and just love them, very versatile color! These are my first pair of Gentle Souls, so I don't know how the sizing usually runs, but while I'm almost always a 9, occasionally 9.5, 8.5 felt right with this sandal. The 9 didn't feel ridiculously big on my wide feet, but I think after they stretched out, it would have been an issue.

Marvelously soft leather. I usually wear a 7.5 (and have other Gentle Souls shoes in 7.5) but in these I definitely need at 7. Comfortable to walk in, though the heels could be more cushioned.

This sandal is wonderful. I purchased this sandal last year in pewter. It still has the same great fit. The leather is so soft. I purchased the fawn color this year. Much lighter than shown. Goes with everything. I would recommend going up half a size, so your toe does come off. Also the price is right.

I ordered these in Pewter and love them. They are a bit loose at the ankle but I don't seem to have a problem with them. They are comfortable enough for every day but I would not wear them for serious walking. Thinking about ordering the black. They are very flattering on the foot.

These are incredibly comfortable shoes. You wouldn't think so -- they're almost totally flat and unstructured -- but they are truly all day shoes, walked a mile in them on the very first day I wore them with no issues. Somehow they feel like they have cushioning even though they have a very thin sole.

The straps are too large for my feet, but even if the shoe fit, the zipper in back flaps up and down and makes a noticeable amount of noise. I would return them for this reason alone. My husband suggested that I tape the zipper down, but that should not be necessary and would look unattractive.

These are fabulous in every way. This brand runs just a little larger than most, so I got an 8.5 instead of a 9. They are pricey but worth it: both comfortable and stylish.
