Great shoes! Soft leather. Sizing is 1\/2 size too large. I\'m normally an 11 and a 10.5 fits perfect.

I've had these shoes for a year now. I wear them every day, pretty much. The tread has held up very well, though in the front the adhesive that keeps the sole to the leather has detached some. It's not really bothersome, and would he easily fixed with a bit of glue. I regularly wear these shoes without socks. The front insole of the left shoe has loosened a bit, probably due to my first two toes pulling it together. It's not uncomfortable. Aside from that the insoles are in good shape. Speaking of comfort, these shoes broke in fairly rapidly, and fit my feet like a glove now. My favorite parts of the shoe are the comfort and durability; I particularly like the extended sole in the back heel portion, since I often prop my feet up under my desk at work and this has caused other (less durable) shoes to tear in the back.

Initially, I bought these shoes because I needed a fresh, new pair of shoes to go on job interviews. When they arrived, the 10.5 size seemed a little big. My feet must have gotten smaller. So I contacted Zappos, who kindly agreed to exchange the original shoes for a size 10. There was no cost to me for the return of the wrong size, or the shipping of the new, correct size. They arrived, and fit like a glove! Most comfortable, the treads are such that you can walk on ice or snow without fear of slipping. The "uppers" of these shoes are strong, pliable, and will mold to your feet almost instantly. I showed them to my doctor, who has been wearing similar shoes for a few months. He freaked out when I told him that I paid less than $100 for them. He has been buying name brand shoes, and paying more than $500 for the same shoe. I think he will be buying Zappos from now on! These shoes are comfortable, easy to keep clean, and good for the feet.

I would purchase this shoe for as long as GBX makes it. Really comfortable and fits the same as any dress shoe would. Good flex and solid sole construction. Great as everyday office wear.

Very nice - and surprisingly good quality for the price. Comfortable and true to size. I have a pair in brown and a pair in black (which is actually very dark navy), and I have worn them regularly without sign of wear.

bought these shoes for my husband to wear when he has to go to court (he's a police officer and they dress up for court). He says they are really comfortable and they look just dressy enough with nice slacks and a button down. They also look nice with dressy jeans for more casual evening occasions.

Excellent service. I am a first time Zappos buyer and will be back again and again. The fast service and return was first rate!
