I run through loafers pretty quickly. I've gone through about 8 different brands of very similar type loafers and tend to buy them and wear them until I desperately need another. Typically a solid shoe will last me about 3 to 4 months. These have held up rather well in comparison, and are well built shoes. They are not very waterproof, so rainy days can be a little colder than some other loafers I've tried, particularly Timberland Venetians. Also some shoes wear over time more gracefully. These shoes are again holding up decently; however, the leather is not as strong as most of the other brands I've warn, so it seems to be looking like an old shoe a little faster than I'd like. The tread is good; however, the design could use a little extra thought. These are probably best as shoes for the summer or warmer places. I like loafers because they're comfortable and you can wear them with almost anything. Plus they're great for driving. I'd recommend these because of their value at such a low price.

I brought these shoes for my then fiance, now husband, for our wedding on the beach. He absolutely loved the shoes! He said they are very comfortable and fit true to size. These bad boys can be worn for long walks and standings (for example, hospital work). Oh, and the price is a steal for shoe quality.

These shoes are very comfortable! They are lightweight and very sturdy well built shoes using good leather and stitching. I think they are great shoes to wear on a Friday at work because they are comfortable, yet look business casual with nice slacks.

Sole began to fall off after one week. Have to crazy glue the sole back on when a portion of the sole begins to separate. In this case you get what you pay for. Comfortable nonetheless.

Typical GBX shoe. A nice big opening to get your foot into and fits snug around your foot.

Good shoe. Fit and comfort are great. White stitching on the black shoe makes it not-quite dressy, but not-quite casual.

Read the reviews about sizes - Make sure to order these shoes a half size smaller then you normally wear. Kudos Zappos, in this economic climate your commitment to customer service is outstanding. I placed my order (regular UPS ground) at 8:00pm yesterday evening and received the shipment the today. It is an absolute pleasure doing business with you.

Pretty Good!!! The shoes are great for casual wear. Bought for a trip to Las Vegas I know I will be walking around on the strip and needed comfortable shoes, these fit the bill. Good looking and comfortable. Not a Cole Haan or Johnston & Murphy, but a good shoe I would recommend to anyone.

Decent shoe for the $ Like the looks and as comfortable as a bedroom slipper...problem is (as one other review mentioned), you can really feel it when walking over rough surfaces, etc...Overall, though, great looks and value (so just don't go hiking in them :)
