I have 2 pairs of GBX loafers in leather (from Zappos of course). They are soft like slippers. When these canvas ones became available I immediately ordered a pair. I love them. They are very attractive and comfortable. The canvas is like your jeans however...that is...they don't seem to stretch out like leather so be sure you don't get them too narrow. I get compliments on all 3 pairs of GBX shoes (including from a shoe salesman in a mens store who wanted to buy them)! How often does that happen with mens shoes?!

These boots get noticed. I looked at several styles and for the price you can\'t beat them for just the right amount of style and character to look classy and upscale like you know what\'s going on and what\'s hot.

I run through loafers pretty quickly. I've gone through about 8 different brands of very similar type loafers and tend to buy them and wear them until I desperately need another. Typically a solid shoe will last me about 3 to 4 months. These have held up rather well in comparison, and are well built shoes. They are not very waterproof, so rainy days can be a little colder than some other loafers I've tried, particularly Timberland Venetians. Also some shoes wear over time more gracefully. These shoes are again holding up decently; however, the leather is not as strong as most of the other brands I've warn, so it seems to be looking like an old shoe a little faster than I'd like. The tread is good; however, the design could use a little extra thought. These are probably best as shoes for the summer or warmer places. I like loafers because they're comfortable and you can wear them with almost anything. Plus they're great for driving. I'd recommend these because of their value at such a low price.

The shoes arrived very quickly and my son loves them. They are stylish yet allow for easy slip-on for those who are short on time, or just plain lazy :) The soles looks as if it will last through all types of wear.

These shoes both look and feel great. I\\\'d never bought shoes by GBX before but overall I\\\'m pleased with the brand. The canvas is good quality but the bottoms of the shoes don\\\'t look incredibly durable. The shoes are comfortable, but they don\\\'t have a whole lot of support so if that\\\'s a big deal to you I wouldn\\\'t recommend these.

I got these in Black. If you're a fan of drivers, but you want something a little different, the details on these shoes absolutely set it apart from the crowd. They fit pretty well to size, and the comfort level is above-average.

It\'s comfortable, and looks good, but the heels peeled off and the rivets fell out pretty quick. Move along, unless you have a riveter and shoe glue.

I brought these shoes for my then fiance, now husband, for our wedding on the beach. He absolutely loved the shoes! He said they are very comfortable and fit true to size. These bad boys can be worn for long walks and standings (for example, hospital work). Oh, and the price is a steal for shoe quality.

I find the most unusual shoes at Zappos and with the free shipping both ways we will know they are what we want. I foster a 16 year old and he has always had poor quality shoes. He is so happy that they look cool and wear well.

I was looking for some comfortable, yet stylish shoes when I came across these babies! I bought a pair in black and a pair in navy. They look great and were comfortable right out of the box. I love these shoes; they look equally great with jeans or slacks. Luckily, I took the advice of previous buyers and ordered them a half size smaller (10.5) than my usual size 11.

These shoes are very comfortable! They are lightweight and very sturdy well built shoes using good leather and stitching. I think they are great shoes to wear on a Friday at work because they are comfortable, yet look business casual with nice slacks.

It's made from too much animal skin, there's too many buckles (unless you want to look like Michael Jackson) and it fits too wide. Too much material (cow skin) on boot sags. Looks like I'm wearing bags and makes my already big feet look even bigger. Makes way too much noise when I move my feet, even when just sitting. All that squeaking leather sound is embarrassing.

I\'m very particular to this type of casual loafer and I almost refuse to wear any other kind of kind of dress shoe. I half-heartedly purchased this GBX model (because it was cheap) to replace some severely worn out loafers. Not expecting much, the build quality of this shoe caught me totally off guard. The shoe has great looking leather and a phenomenal shape for this kind of shoe (I\'ve bought a million kinds of these - Steve Madden, Kenneth Cole, Clarks, etc.)\r\n\r\nI think the product pictures really undersell this shoe. It looks well built and feels sturdy and comfortable (although it does appear to run just a little big.) The contrast stitching doesn\'t look stupid and it wears much better with formal clothes than you would think.

Sole began to fall off after one week. Have to crazy glue the sole back on when a portion of the sole begins to separate. In this case you get what you pay for. Comfortable nonetheless.

Great fit, great service - Kudos to Zappos again. After searching for the right shoe, I found the GBX and Polo pair, ordered both on at 2:30pm central, and couldn't believe, they were delivered the next day by 10:00am. No extra charge. The GBX (in black) is perfect for the casual resort, jeans, cargo shorts, etc. true to fit. And what a great price. Outstanding material feel and craftsmanship. The Polo's (in brown) look the same in design, cost more, slightly longer, but comfy. My plan was to return one pair after seeing which fit best, but after trying each, decided to keep them both. Thanks again Zappos. Will be back.

Great shoe, good price - Style and fit are just what I was looking for. Casual, yet sophisticated design. It has one design flaw. The heel flap of leather is not stitched or glued, so it was constantly flipping up. I used leather glue and it it is now perfect; the company should have thought of this. I would recommend the shoe.

GBX sand suede - A great pair of shoes for the money. 2 days to break in-then very comfortable. Great style with a unique sole. Arch support is moderate. True to size. Zappos customer service and shipping is 5 stars.
