I have 19" calves and definitely need double-wide boots if they are tall. These fit over my jeans, however - fantastic! They are also fine over tights. I wish they had thicker soles but with my giant calves I take what I can get.

Love, love, love them. Soft and scrunchy. Great with tights and a long dress and can even wear over some of my jeans!! Yea!! Waiting to hear when brown is available.

These are some seriously wide calves! My calves are 19" diameter, and in tights they're so baggy they slump down around my ankles. I guess they'd go over jeans pretty well, but I only wear boots with skirts. They seem like pretty good boots otherwise though.
