Though the shaft circumference says it's 16.5 inches, I was able to zip them over my beautiful 20 inch calves. Oh, it's tight, but I got them on. They are very beautiful looking boots.

Horrible, don't buy. I bought for my daughter and she wore a couple times. Sole has let go from the side. So either I glue or get repaired. Very unhappy.

They fit my ginormous calves! Hooray! And they are cute and comfy. I love these and can work in them all day without my feet hurting.

Size 8 has about 18.5" top. Rather strong alcohol type smell (much like a dry eraser smell) which I am assuming will fade quickly now that they are out of the plastic bag they were in.

I love these boots, but I had to return them because the top was slightly too big. Otherwise, I would have kept them!
I'd also recommend: ANYTHING from ZAPPOS:-)
