I bought this watch for my husband when he turned 25. He loved it, but his younger brothers who are 19 and 13 love it more. I think this watch is for the younger crowd because it's hip. It's in style! It looks nice, but it is not all that heavy. I just don't see what the big talk is all about.

This G-shock is HOT! I brought it for my boyfriend for his birthday but the only part is that the watch is complicated to set the time. Until this day, I still don\'t think he has been able to set the time on that watch. But other than that...its a great buy!

Larger than it looks, but very nice. This watch is actually a bit larger than it would seem by looking at the photos online. Even with measurements given, it looks bigger on your wrist when you wear it. That aside, it's a very nice looking watch (I got the clear/white one), sturdy, well made. The tech is amazing, having both digital AND analog displays that are easy to see (even if setting the analog hands is slightly cumbersome). Once you set the digital time and get the analog hands set, the analog hands will automatically sync with the digital readout's seconds, so that the watch is perfectly in sync with itself. This watch has an LED to illuminate the display rather than an electroluminescent light (the soft blue "backglow" you see on a lot of watches and some car dashes). I chose this one specifically for the LED over the other watch I was considering which has the EL. The clear/white version I got has an amber LED which lights the watch display up quite nicely in the dark. You can also set it to auto illuminate when you move your wrist. The cool thing is, to save the battery, the watch will automatically turn the auto LED function off after six hours. Technology these days... I'm happy with this purchase, and the shipping from Zappos was so fast it nearly made my head spin. I still might pick up the other white watch I was looking at. Black seems so large and clunky, while white, for some reason, really attracts me with its uniqueness. Not too many white sport timepieces out there.

I love this watch! First of all it’s gorgeous to look it - it’s a beautiful combination of blue, grey, and black with white lettering. The combination analog hands with electronics is nice (and the hands glow in the dark). Its got nice minute hash marks and four built in display widgets on the face. It has all the usual stop watch and track and field type features that I have never used ever in any of these watches but get this - it is the first watch I have seen in 20 years that does not make selecting its features and options an exercise in crushing a pen point into the right place for five seconds in order to engage its "change" mode. Instead, you just push whatever button you need to push and it works! (Why do most watch makers design their watches as if accidentally selecting something is considered just as bad as triggering nuclear war and hence make it as hard as possible to do???) I'm thinking of buying another copy of this watch - I know years from now when I lose this one or break it I'm going to want the exact same thing again.

Christmas present for my younger brother - I bought this as a Christmas present for my 19 year old brother; he's wanted this watch for months and he was ecstatic when he opened the box. A little harder to set than most watches but he figured it out. He loves it, especially the red!!
