Wow, this vest is magnificent. I recently became a serious and consistent runner. Most of my training sessions occur at night because of the extreme summer heat here in the south. After having some close calls with seemingly blind motorists, I decided it was time to consider some reflective gear. I reviewed many reflective vests online but none appeared to come close to the quality of Fuel Belts. I knew this was the right vest because it was form fitting and it didn't have the velcro material that can possibly damage your clothes. I've been using this vest for more than a month now, I can guarantee that it's as advertised. It's light, comfortable, and ultra reflective. While wearing it I always notice how approaching motorists change their lane positions in order to give me more space. Sometimes I like to imagine drivers saying "what the heck is that, let me give it some room." This product is a must if you run at night as it also identifies you as an innocent runner instead of that suspect the police are looking for. Most importantly, it helps to ease the nerves of its wearer and others in the area. About me: 6'2", 180Lb; I purchased L/XL. Neon Green (It's the best color for day time use also). Fits perfectly, it's not tight at all and it still stays in place just fine. It has two pockets on the back that should only be used for IDs, money, necessary keys, and/or a small key chain flashlight. Anything heavier might cause the vest to jump around or slide back to an uncomfortable position on the front of the neck. I think its machine washable but all I do is wet it, spread a thin layer of gentle color-safe detergent on it, spray it gently with the garden hose, and let it air dry. I love it too much to put it in the washing machine; too risky. You can't beat the free shipping both ways. I was extra excited to receive mine in just two days after submitting my order. It's like Zappos knew my life was in danger and wanted to save me. Thanks Zappos! Safety first!

I have a small, and it's a bit big for a woman runner. However, it provides excellent visibility and reflectiveness.

After years of using a Wal-mart vest, I invested in the Fuel Belt vest and am thrilled! Love the zip on/off, the small pockets and great fit - no more ratty velcro catching on my clothing. I highly recommend it. I run primarily before sunrise and recently someone told me they could see me 50 yards away. (I also wear a headlamp.) By the way, I am 110 lbs, 5'2" and the vest fits well over about 3 thin layers - I wear my vests on the looser size.

Good value for the price; simple and lightweight. Doesn't interfere with my fuel belt or waist leash for the dog. A more fluid fabric would be nice - this is a little stiff.

There's a tiny tab at the top of the zipper seam that pokes me in the throat if I zip this up all the way. It's the kind of thing I can fix with 10 minutes and my sewing kit, but why can't manufacturers plan for this sort of thing?? Aside from that, it's a comfortable piece. Definitely breathable, non-constrictive, and highly visible. I'm a 10/12 woman's top and I ordered the small/med size. It's not baggy on me (though I can layer a jacket underneath it- the jacket also helps protect from the neck poking issue), but it's a little short through the torso (like on the mannequin in the picture). I'm 5'8. The short length is fine for wearing/running/the fit, but it means that the little pockets in the back are harder to reach. So I might keep keys and cash in them, but not anything that I'd want to access easily while running.

Could use some "softer" edges. It's fine for wearing over my winter running jacket, but it would probably be "scratchy" over thinner summer wear. I don't plan to wear it in the summer, as it will always be daylight when I run that time of year. Appears to be well constructed. One thing I could not find when shopping was a size chart, even at the manufacturer's website. I took a shot with the L/XL. With the winter running jacket on, it fits fine over my 5'9", 165lb frame. Probably be a bit sloppy over just a summer top. Minimal style points, but I don't know how you make a running vest look good.
