These shoes are really, really comfortable. Great arch support. Wore them for the first time all day while moving a house full of furniture and they were still comfortable at the end of the day. I love them. I usually wear a size 9 in Frye boots but I wear size 10 in these. The leather doesn't seem hot as you might think. I've got them in red and black and just ordered them in slate. Will probably end up with the brown before it is all said and done.

These have a great look to them, but I found the arch support to be awkward. It felt like there was a ball under arch, instead of a nice rounded arch, not comfortable at all.

I was super excited when I saw Frye was making sneakers. The shoe has a rugged style, but the leather is top quality - just like the boots. The comfort is better than I've found the boots to be. I usually use superfeet inserts in all my shoes, but without one, this was comfortable for a day on my feet. The look is sort of androgynous, but I love it. A lot of the price is name, but the structure of the shoe lives up to a top boot maker (so far). True to size and width. Maybe a smidge narrow (like the boots) because my foot is narrow and I didn't have to lace too tightly, but adjustable with the laces. How could you go wrong?
Brands I'd also recommend: tsubo, puma

Got them within 24 hours. Zappos.com is the best! Soft leather, very comfortable considering I have a flat feet. Ordered them in brown/orange, same color as on the picture. I usually wear size 7, but these I ordered half size larger and they fit perfectly. And it is definitely for narrow feet. I am very happy with this product!

About Frye
Frye's current Harness Boots are rooted in tradition and continue to draw influence from the Cavalry. Today the classic Harness Boot holds a place in American culture. The Frye Harness Boot has been pictured in fashion spreads internationally. In 1938, on a trip to Washington, D.C., John A. Frye's grandson and namesake met a U.S. Navy Admiral who confided that he had trouble finding the Wellington boots he liked so much. As a favor, John agreed to make him a pair. Frye continued to fill requests for these boots through the Second World War. During World War II, Frye supplied thousands of servicemen with Frye Wellington boots, known as Jet Boots, by mail order.
In the 1960's, Frye reintroduced the Campus Boot, from its 1860 original, featuring a bulky toe and chunky heel that came to epitomize the attitude and the style of the 60's and 70's. There was nothing like these "new" Frye Boots on the market, and consumers began to demand "Original Fryes." When searching for items to represent the America of the 60's, the Smithsonian Institute chose a pair of Frye Boots.
The quality of all Frye shoes is timeless. For almost 150 years, Frye leather products have continued to be benchcrafted from the finest full grain leather uppers. It takes over 190 steps to make one pair of Frye boots. Frye remains dedicated to the commitment of craftsmanship for which Frye boots and Frye shoes have been known for more than 100 years.

I am very frustrated! I love the looks of these sneakers but they are just too narrow for me. I am usually an 8.5 medium but the size 8.5 and the size 9 were too small, especially in width. I now have the 9.5 medium and can't decide whether to keep them (they are a bit too long, not surprisingly) or give up on these and find a similar style in another brand. I wish these sneakers came in a Wide!

These shoes are cute, well made and comfy. I'm only returning them because the Ecco Glory Tie shoe was a bit cuter and more had more support for the arch and more cushion under the heel. These shoes would have been another good option.

These ran way small - at least one full size. They seem like they might've been comfortable otherwise though. I liked them better in the pictures than in real life. Also, there are no grommets around the holes for the shoelaces, which seemed really strange and flimsy to me. It doesn't feel like the holes in the leather will hold up well to tying over time. Sadly am sending these back; I was excited to buy my first pair of Fryes. Oh well.

The first time I wore these I received 3 compliments on them. Definitely keepers! Extremely comfortable and excellent arch support. They break in nicely and form to your foot. I've always worn Vans or Converse before and these Frye's beat them all in terms of comfort, breathability, yet still stylin'. High quality leather which cleans up easily if scuffed or your dog steps on your new shoes with muddy feet. My friend owns the grey/lime green pair and traveled all over Italy in them without a complaint. I give them two thumbs up!

Sadness! These don't fit at all. They are too small and too narrow. I really love the way they look but sadly I'll be returning them.

These shoes have adequate support and were a tad on the narrow side when I first put them on but after wearing them for a day they've become a second skin.

While these sneakers might be a bit pricey, they're worth it! The cement color goes with everything and talk about comfort! I've not had a lot of compliments (people in SF don't do that!), I have gotten stares at my shoes and that can only mean, I'm wearing a cool pair of shoes!

I just received the black and pink. Super cute but super narrow...so narrow, I didn't even try them on. I mean they are really skinny looking. I do have borderline narrow feet but I didn't want this to be a case of the shoes breaking me in instead of breaking them in. So...back they go.

I seriously loved these shoes the first week I got them. There is already a rip in the tongue and the green detailing is scuffed pretty bad and I've only worn them a few times. I thought Frye's were made to last.
