When I ordered these my size was sold out and there was only one pair left in the half size smaller. I'm thinking it's only a matter of time before the reviews come in because these clogs are great! As always, Frye makes a great, cool, edgy, but wearable looking shoe. I own 6 pairs of their boots and they are my go-to because I know how comfy and stylish their products are. These are no different! I ordered a half size smaller and I m glad I did. I also ordered the black which is somewhat of a soft black so they aren't harsh. These will go with dresses, long skirts, skinny jeans, boyfriend jeans. Perfect, easy shoe for fall/ winter in SoCal. Bonus: my boyfriend loves them and thinks they are cool. As always, it was a pleasure ordering from Zappos.
Brands I'd also recommend: Matisse, Sam Edelman

I bought a pair of these in black; the black is a soft black so it can also look dark grey. I bought a size 6 and they are a little tight on the toes. I would buy a half size larger. The tip of the toe doesn't seem to wear as well as I'd like as the leather is rather thin and the tan of the leather show through and contrasts with the black after wearing. Fabulous looking shoes and I plan on buying a brown pair, just half a size bigger.

These are some seriously awesome clogs. A little bit on the casual side, but very wearable, thanks to the platform, despite the heels. My foot is a little bit wide, and these have taken a little bit of break-in time, but not too much. Love them with both jeans and skirts.

Unlike all the Frye boots I own or have tried on, these fit true to size. I normally wear a 7.5, but wear a 6.5-7 in Frye boots. I ordered these in 7.5 and they fit perfectly. The style of the shoe is super cute and would look great with jeans or skirts/dresses but I was disappointed to see that Frye is making their shoes in China now. I'm not sure if this is new, or if it is only certain styles, but my past experience with a change in where shoe production is taking place has not been good. I used to wear a certain brand of shoe that was made in Denmark and when they moved production elsewhere, quality went down significantly. I cannot say I noticed any difference in these shoes versus other Frye shoes, but I am not going to take a chance at this price.

About Frye
Frye's current Harness Boots are rooted in tradition and continue to draw influence from the Cavalry. Today the classic Harness Boot holds a place in American culture. The Frye Harness Boot has been pictured in fashion spreads internationally. In 1938, on a trip to Washington, D.C., John A. Frye's grandson and namesake met a U.S. Navy Admiral who confided that he had trouble finding the Wellington boots he liked so much. As a favor, John agreed to make him a pair. Frye continued to fill requests for these boots through the Second World War. During World War II, Frye supplied thousands of servicemen with Frye Wellington boots, known as Jet Boots, by mail order.
In the 1960's, Frye reintroduced the Campus Boot, from its 1860 original, featuring a bulky toe and chunky heel that came to epitomize the attitude and the style of the 60's and 70's. There was nothing like these "new" Frye Boots on the market, and consumers began to demand "Original Fryes." When searching for items to represent the America of the 60's, the Smithsonian Institute chose a pair of Frye Boots.
The quality of all Frye shoes is timeless. For almost 150 years, Frye leather products have continued to be benchcrafted from the finest full grain leather uppers. It takes over 190 steps to make one pair of Frye boots. Frye remains dedicated to the commitment of craftsmanship for which Frye boots and Frye shoes have been known for more than 100 years.
