I can't say enough great things about these boots! I was looking for a classy, traditional style high quality brown leather boot. If I had another chink of money to spare, I would buy the black also. The leather is amazing quality and they are right in style with the equestrian look, but not so trendy that I won't be able to wear them for years to come. Frye makes an amazing product and I know several people who have their mother's Fryes from the 70s that are still in great shape. I will say that these ran big -- I usually wear a 9-9.5. I ordered the 9, and it was significantly too big, so I reordered in an 8.5 which works much better. I have normal/somewhat slender calves and the calf size is perfect to wear with jeans or knee socks underneath. Love these!

These are the most gorgeous boots I have ever seen!!! I had to return them because I could not fit my size 6 foot, 15 1/2" calf into them!! I was so depressed!!! I should have taken them to a cobbler and had a gore put in the back, but I hedged because of the price of them. Dang it!!!

These are gorgeous boots! Wish I could keep them, but there is no way to get my 16" calves into this boot and still pull it all the way up. I'm so sad. I thought about taking them to the cobbler to get them stretched because I like the style so much, but it's not even close. There's not even a zipper or goring to make it easier. These boots are made for very narrow calves. The footbed felt true to size, though.

This boot looked and felt like a stove pipe on. The leather is incredibly stiff and the ankle is huge. Every time I tried to walk, the bulk ankle would make this loud noise that sounded like I was a little kid wearing my Mom's rain boots. On top of that, the boot came up behind my knee, making walking and sitting difficult. I rode for years, so I know boots, a riding boot would come up that high so that when it dropped at the ankle it was still high enough to protect the leg. It would take years for these to break in like that and I really don't want my fashion boot all wrinkled at the ankle so it fits at the knee. The sole was very slippery on my carpeting too. On the plus side, they have a nice footbed and you can get skinny jeans into them easily. But I shouldn't have to talk myself into keeping boots this pricey simply because they at the house and I'm tired of the boot search. Back they went and on to the next pair.

Ordered these boots yesterday, received them today and I'm obsessed! I'm not the skinniest person alive and was worried about my calves fitting, but I was able to fit them over my skinny jeans snuggly and over leggings comfortably. I've already received 6 compliments and can't wait to wear them to NYC and am confident they will be very comfortable walking around the city.

I love these boots! I was hesitant to purchase this style at first because the Melissa Button style did not fit me very well at all. These fit WAY better! Are very comfortable. I purchased the 8.5 which is my typical size in Frye in the all black. The leather is very durable, yet soft. They have a classic look while still being very unique. The circumference is 15 in and height is 17 in. Long story short, I'm in LOVE with these! Highly recommended.

I'm so in love with these boots. Everything about them is perfect. They're a little stiff right away, and a little tight around the calves, but after a few wears they stretch out a bit and are super comfortable and easy to put on. It's my first pair of Frye boots, and I will be purchasing another pair in the near future! :)

These boots are beyond gorgeous! I have them in the black/brown combo which I love because it matches everything. I love how easy it is to dress these up or down. I ordered a half size down according to the other Frye reveiws. They are a little tough to pull on at first, but break in after 2-3 wears. I have small calves, and they fit pretty snug compared to other pull on boots. I get compliments on them every time I wear them and for the quality, I think the price is reasonable.

This is a beautiful boot and comfortable right out of the box (because it fits!). Measure the circumference of your calf at the widest part to insure you get the right boot. I also ordered another Frye (the Melissa Trapunto) which is gorgeous but way too tight in the calf. On the Trapunto, it said 15" circumference, which is what my calf is, but I really couldn't even pull it up without tights on. There just wasn't enough room for my calves to flex while walking. Sending those back but definitely keeping the Melissa Logo.

Beautiful boot! I love this boot! I bought the Black Multi-color. I first saw Kourtney Kardashian in a similar multi-colored pair that are Chanel. They were super cute. So when I saw these Fryes I had to buy them. I get compliments on them every time I wear them. They are very comfortable right out of the box. They are very classy and versatile. You can dress them up with a blazer and skinnies or wear casual with leggings and a sweater. Well worth the money! Excellent quality and they are FRYE need I say more!

Loved the idea of this boot. The monogram cutout accent is really cool. They are too tall for me and too wide in the calf, so they are going back. I am 5'5" if that helps anyone. I am going to try a Born riding boot next.

The boots are gorgeous! It is tighter around the calves relative to other boots, at least that I have. I was able to squeeze my 15 1/2 calves in somehow. Otherwise, I highly recommend it and am pondering even getting it in black.

I was hesitant to buy these boots because at 5'2" it is really hard to find boots that are not too tall. Surprisingly, they fit just fine (though they are a little wide circumference wise). I purchased these boots in my usual size and they were roomy at first, though that problem was easily fixed with a pair of thick socks. Overall, I would highly recommend these boots.

Love! I have a very narrow, flat foot, and I usually wear an 8. However, after ordering my usual size from the Frye site, I ended up returning it. I found that Zappos had the 8.5 for cheaper! I advise ordering a 1/2 size up. The boots run a bit narrow around the balls of the feet, and the calf can be a little snug (even on my slim/athletic frame). The leather and craftsmanship are phenomenal and the foot bed is super comfy. I get tons of compliments on the appearance, especially the crest. I had my cobbler add a rubber sole for traction, and I'm looking forward to wearing these for years to come.

Beautiful boot - unfortunately, they are going back. The circumference is not 16 as stated. Couldn't get them over my 5 day a week runners 15 inch calves.
