Wow, these are leather! Found them at my local shoe store and got to try them on. They run short for me about a 1/2 size. Even though the boots from Frye are a perfect fit. These are a very nice tennis shoe style but have to pass as they are too short.
Brands I'd also recommend: Frye boots!!!!!!

These are very cute, but however, run about a half size small, as do Frye sandals. I was disappointed!

This is a very cool looking sneaker. I usually take an 8.5 but I needed the 9. The toe box is very low and somewhat shortened though the sneaker looks long. There is no arch support so I did put a little extra in which fits nicely in the 9 but my toes were pinched even without it in the 8.5.
Brands I'd also recommend: Keen, Simple, Merrell

I bought this shoe for my daughter. The color is great. It matches everything. She says they are very comfortable as well. I'm a big fan of all Frye shoes, and this lived up to expectations. As usual, we got our order lighting fast and just love Zappos!

About Frye
Frye's current Harness Boots are rooted in tradition and continue to draw influence from the Cavalry. Today the classic Harness Boot holds a place in American culture. The Frye Harness Boot has been pictured in fashion spreads internationally. In 1938, on a trip to Washington, D.C., John A. Frye's grandson and namesake met a U.S. Navy Admiral who confided that he had trouble finding the Wellington boots he liked so much. As a favor, John agreed to make him a pair. Frye continued to fill requests for these boots through the Second World War. During World War II, Frye supplied thousands of servicemen with Frye Wellington boots, known as Jet Boots, by mail order.
In the 1960's, Frye reintroduced the Campus Boot, from its 1860 original, featuring a bulky toe and chunky heel that came to epitomize the attitude and the style of the 60's and 70's. There was nothing like these "new" Frye Boots on the market, and consumers began to demand "Original Fryes." When searching for items to represent the America of the 60's, the Smithsonian Institute chose a pair of Frye Boots.
The quality of all Frye shoes is timeless. For almost 150 years, Frye leather products have continued to be benchcrafted from the finest full grain leather uppers. It takes over 190 steps to make one pair of Frye boots. Frye remains dedicated to the commitment of craftsmanship for which Frye boots and Frye shoes have been known for more than 100 years.

Comfortable, casual and cool! Soft leather in a variety of colors makes it hard to choose! Great Frye quality. Would definitely recommend.

I'm in love. I was hesitant about spending so much on shoes, especially since I knew jack about the brand. But after reading the good reviews, I was sold. They were instantly comfortable. The leather was soft, but solid. I ordered size 5.5 in gray. I agree, the shoes run about a half size smaller than expected. This doesn't bother me because I'm a size 5 anyway. Bonus!

Very nice shoe, although it has no arch support. If you have a high arch like me, you'll need to get inserts (another $12). The insert also covered the bottom leather (which was one of the reasons why I bought these shoes). I am also getting custom made purple shoelaces, because the white ones overpower the rest of the shoe. Overall I am very happy, although, the white bottoms and white shoelaces take away from the beauty of the leather (making it look like an ordinary Vans).

I loved the color and look of these shoes, but I returned them because they had no arch support. I do a lot of city walking, and didn't think my feet would hold up. Also, I agree with the other reviewers who said the shoe runs approximately 1/2 size small. I usually wear a size 6, but ordered a size 6.5 and they fit just fine.

Just got these today (thanks for the free next-day shipping) and they are so cute. Exactly what I was hoping for, and perfect for kicking around or walking around. They are comfortable and very well-made. My only complaint is the dirty outer sole (why, Frye, why?), but I can get over it. I waited a long time to buy these, and I wish I'd gotten them sooner. They're awesome!

I love these sneakers. But I was very surprised and disappointed to find out that I have to wear protective tape on my left foot every time I wear this shoe. The stitching on the inside of the left shoe is very rough and causes blisters - "breaking in" the shoe did not solve the problem. For a shoe that costs this much, the craftsmanship should be superior. I will not buy Frye sneakers again.

I love these shoes. I basically have not taken them off since I got them. Super-comfy even without socks, look decent with skirts, not as casual as outright athletic shoes (at least, not in the burnt orange). They are quite flat -- very little rise from toe to heel -- and the leather is soft and felt broken-in from day one. I've just ordered another pair, and I'm kicking myself for dithering about getting these. I first noticed them over a year ago, I think, and couldn't talk myself into them until recently. Foolishness! I could have been enjoying them all that time! They run small; I ordered a half-size up from my regular size and they're a perfect fit.

I have a very difficult time finding shoes that fit and wanted these to work so badly. I found them to be quite narrow and too straight. They weren't really shaped like my feet, which I'm sure is not a problem that most people have, but these were just really ill fitting. The orange logo on both pairs I ordered was so distressed I could barely see it. Just a heads up if that's one of the draws for you.

I wanted this to be my perfect casual sneaker and it almost was except the shoe is too narrow for me. If you have a narrow foot and are looking for a cute leather sneaker then buy this. If you have a big, wide foot, pass.

Hooray for customer reviews! I take a 7½ in all Frye boots/shoes that I have tried but, thanks to customer reviews, I ordered an 8 and it is perfect. The shoe itself is... well, it may be destined to be my favorite shoe ever. I got the burnt orange and I love it. It features distressed leather, but not ridiculously so. It is great with jeans or skirts. I work in a pretty casual environment (a school) and I can wear these to work and feel like I have not left my personality behind. The review about dirty soles is irrelevant. I think Frye must have updated the shoe since it was written.
