Beautiful, supple, comfortable leather. Classic design. Extremely doable platform height. Very true to size. Bought this in green and camel to see which I like best but I cannot part with either - they are that perfect. Highly recommended.
Brands I'd also recommend: Rachel Comey, Via Spiga, Stuart Weitzman

These heels are high (bit higher than I would normally buy), but very comfortable. The back strap is all elastic so the shoe fit snugly to the foot. Great style and comfort. A Five star heel! Frye rocks!
Brands I'd also recommend: Clarks, softs, la Canadienne

Gorgeous. Superior quality, just absolutely lovely. Unfortunately, they're too narrow! My perfect size is 6.5C/D or even E, but most of my shoes are 7B because most of my favorite styles (such as these Frye T-straps) are not offered in wide sizes. This usually works out fine, but these particular shoes were still too narrow even when going up 1/2 size. A full size up might work as far as width, but would then be too long for me. I considered that maybe the leather would stretch over time, but until then it would be terribly uncomfortable to wear them. For such a high cost I want to feel good in them right now. I'm devastated that I have to send these beauties back and continue my quest for the perfect brown platform sandal.
Brands I'd also recommend: Pink Studio, Nine West, Seychelles

About Frye
Frye's current Harness Boots are rooted in tradition and continue to draw influence from the Cavalry. Today the classic Harness Boot holds a place in American culture. The Frye Harness Boot has been pictured in fashion spreads internationally. In 1938, on a trip to Washington, D.C., John A. Frye's grandson and namesake met a U.S. Navy Admiral who confided that he had trouble finding the Wellington boots he liked so much. As a favor, John agreed to make him a pair. Frye continued to fill requests for these boots through the Second World War. During World War II, Frye supplied thousands of servicemen with Frye Wellington boots, known as Jet Boots, by mail order.
In the 1960's, Frye reintroduced the Campus Boot, from its 1860 original, featuring a bulky toe and chunky heel that came to epitomize the attitude and the style of the 60's and 70's. There was nothing like these "new" Frye Boots on the market, and consumers began to demand "Original Fryes." When searching for items to represent the America of the 60's, the Smithsonian Institute chose a pair of Frye Boots.
The quality of all Frye shoes is timeless. For almost 150 years, Frye leather products have continued to be benchcrafted from the finest full grain leather uppers. It takes over 190 steps to make one pair of Frye boots. Frye remains dedicated to the commitment of craftsmanship for which Frye boots and Frye shoes have been known for more than 100 years.

Loved this sandal, so wanted to keep it but just so narrow. It was difficult to get on and dug in slightly. The trapunto slide was a much better fit.

These are absolutely awesome! While the platform was slightly higher than I was anticipating, when I put these on I knew they were mine. They are sexy and incredibly comfortable for a heel. I adore Frye and these rock!

If these shoes didn't run half-a-size too small, I would probably eat, sleep, and shower in them. Gorgeous color and style, with decent padding under the ball of the foot. I'm very sad Zappos ran out of the half-size up, or I'd keep them in a heartbeat.

I've wanted this shoe for quite some time now; once the price dropped I had to have them. I love this shoe, very comfy, agree with other views on the width; however, for me these are keepers, want other colors. Also Zappos has the very best service. Loving it.

I love these shoes. They are much more comfortable than you might expect. The leather is soft and they make me look really tall!
