Great boots with lots of 'biker chic' detailing, but the calf portion is very wide... two of me could fit in it and due to the elastic behind the chain it cannot be altered by a cobbler. Great boots for someone with a wider calf.

I love these boots! Very comfortable, true to size (I wear a 9.5 or a 10 and bought a 10 in these). The boot is wide in the shaft, but they are pull on and need to be. The perfect motorcycle boot with great detail!

Like others, I agree that this boot has a wide calf, but the foot fit great and was super comfy. Unfortunately, the quality was not what I would expect from a Frye boot. A piece of leather in the foot bed only extended to the mid-arch and was poorly glued down. After trying the boots on and walking around my house for few minutes, that piece was already starting to come loose on the right boot. The leather was clearly going to make an uncomfortable lump right under my instep. Upon closer inspection, I noted that the overall stitching was not up to par either.

I had originally purchased the Frye Carson Shortie, but could not get either the 7 or the 7.5 to fit. Something was just off on the sizing. I usually wear a 7.5 for flats, and an 8 in tall heels. So, I knew that a size 7 shouldn't fit me. But, the 7.5 was swimming on me! Back the Carson's went and I ordered the Jenna's. They are a completely different style, but better, in my opinion! I love them. They are sort of rocker chic. The top of the boot is quite large. Some might like that, but I believe this style is such that the top should be larger. I can't wait to wear them with leggings! I am not a skinny jeans kind of girl but I bet they would be awesome with those. They fit true to size. The 7.5 fit me perfectly.

I love this boot! I have been wearing it for about a month and it is so very comfortable. It is wearing very well for a leather boot - no scuffs or scrapes. I often wear them when I ride my motorcycle and they are perfect for that purpose. The chain detail is smashing. I worried about not being able to adjust the boot at the calf like some of the others, but it is absolutely not an issue. They slide on and off with ease, my feet stay cool and comfy and I like the low heel. You can count on Frye to provide a superior boot!

About Frye
Frye's current Harness Boots are rooted in tradition and continue to draw influence from the Cavalry. Today the classic Harness Boot holds a place in American culture. The Frye Harness Boot has been pictured in fashion spreads internationally. In 1938, on a trip to Washington, D.C., John A. Frye's grandson and namesake met a U.S. Navy Admiral who confided that he had trouble finding the Wellington boots he liked so much. As a favor, John agreed to make him a pair. Frye continued to fill requests for these boots through the Second World War. During World War II, Frye supplied thousands of servicemen with Frye Wellington boots, known as Jet Boots, by mail order.
In the 1960's, Frye reintroduced the Campus Boot, from its 1860 original, featuring a bulky toe and chunky heel that came to epitomize the attitude and the style of the 60's and 70's. There was nothing like these "new" Frye Boots on the market, and consumers began to demand "Original Fryes." When searching for items to represent the America of the 60's, the Smithsonian Institute chose a pair of Frye Boots.
The quality of all Frye shoes is timeless. For almost 150 years, Frye leather products have continued to be benchcrafted from the finest full grain leather uppers. It takes over 190 steps to make one pair of Frye boots. Frye remains dedicated to the commitment of craftsmanship for which Frye boots and Frye shoes have been known for more than 100 years.

I received my boots yesterday and I am very happy with them. I think they are true to size, length and width. They are comfortable, stylish, and the craftsmanship is stellar. I love my new boots and can't wait to wear them. My first Fryes, but not my last! Love, love, love them!!!!!!!!!!!

Wore my boots for the first time today. I was the first time I have worn a boot that did not bind or feel uncomfortable. They were so comfy from the time I put them on until I took them off. I am so impressed with the comfort and quality of these boots. I love them! M.S.

While I loved the overall look of these boots, I think the shape of the very front toe portion needs more style--perhaps squared off. Since the front toe portion is the only portion visible when I wear boot jeans, the great look of the boot isn't visible most of that time. In short, love the boot, but I'm not fond of the way it looks with boot jeans--nothing special there. Also, heel slips a bit.
