The teal is an even nicer color than it appeared onscreen. Unfortunately, the straps just did not hit the right places on my feet and they did not fit properly. They are really pretty sandals, and I was sorry to return them.

I bought 4 pair in various colors which are all in earth tones. The leather is soft and supple...no 'break-in' period in these sandals. Zappos sent these right away after my order!

The look is great, but they are very loose, almost slippery inside. I'm sure they'd flip off my feet while walking. Too bad, very disappointed to have to return them because the colors I ordered are lovely.

I love this shoe! I had huarache sandals as kid, I\'d get a new pair almost every summer. This shoe brought back that childhood feeling of summer for me. They are made with the same meticulous precision of other Frye products, definitely worth the money and will definitely last for many summers!

I love these sandals and have received tons of compliments on them! I purchased them in a few colors and eventually chose the tan color. I typically wear in between a 6.5 and a 7 shoe size, but ordered a 6 since other reviews said to order a size down. (I also buy a size 6 in Frye boots and they always stretch out to fit perfectly.) They are a bit narrow, but I truly believe they will stretch as I wear them more frequently. I would recommend buying these sandals if you are looking for a summer sandal that is comfortable to walk around in. Just be aware that they are likely to stretch over time.

About Frye
Frye's current Harness Boots are rooted in tradition and continue to draw influence from the Cavalry. Today the classic Harness Boot holds a place in American culture. The Frye Harness Boot has been pictured in fashion spreads internationally. In 1938, on a trip to Washington, D.C., John A. Frye's grandson and namesake met a U.S. Navy Admiral who confided that he had trouble finding the Wellington boots he liked so much. As a favor, John agreed to make him a pair. Frye continued to fill requests for these boots through the Second World War. During World War II, Frye supplied thousands of servicemen with Frye Wellington boots, known as Jet Boots, by mail order.
In the 1960's, Frye reintroduced the Campus Boot, from its 1860 original, featuring a bulky toe and chunky heel that came to epitomize the attitude and the style of the 60's and 70's. There was nothing like these "new" Frye Boots on the market, and consumers began to demand "Original Fryes." When searching for items to represent the America of the 60's, the Smithsonian Institute chose a pair of Frye Boots.
The quality of all Frye shoes is timeless. For almost 150 years, Frye leather products have continued to be benchcrafted from the finest full grain leather uppers. It takes over 190 steps to make one pair of Frye boots. Frye remains dedicated to the commitment of craftsmanship for which Frye boots and Frye shoes have been known for more than 100 years.

I love these sandals! I usually wear a size 8 in boots and sneakers and a size 7.5 in heels and sandals. I ordered the 7.5 and they fit perfectly. A little snug at first, but they stretch with a few wearings and no blisters while breaking in. They look cute with everything! You can't go wrong with Frye quality.

I've been looking for an easy comfy sandal that I would like enough to keep me from wearing flip-flops, which are so convenient but so bad for my feet. I think I found them! The leather on these is really nice, the insoles are nicely padded, the colors are fun. I'm usually an 8.5 sometimes 9 - the 8.5 in these was too short, the 9 is perfect.

I've been looking for a semi-casual leather sandal that is not a flip flop, and this one is just perfect. Totally comfortable, and the gold leather is dressy enough to wear w/ a cute sun dress. I normally wear a 7, but they were just a bit short and so I went with a 7 1/2. They are pretty tight right out of the box, but several reviews mention they stretch with time. Classic, comfortable, and high quality!

Beautiful sandal in the gold/brown version. Fits a half-size smaller than other brands, but the leather stretches. My pinkie toes escape through the woven straps, so I had to return them.
Brands I'd also recommend: Born

These absolutely do run a half size small. I am a size 7 in everything - everything except Frye clogs, Frye ballet flats and now, apparently, Frye sandals. Fortunately, I heeded others warnings and ordered the 7.5. A 7 would have been too short. These sandals seem narrow as well. I actually have a pretty narrow foot, but my big toe kind of wants to go off the edge of the sandal which I am not crazy about. They are very comfortable right out of the box, not tight at all and the bands hit my foot in the correct places as to not put pressure anywhere that might cause blisters. They are cute, well-made sandals, I may purchase another color (I got the black), but I won't pay full price for them.

I absolutely love the shoes. Workmanship outstanding. Medium width is a little to wide. Too bad it is not in narrow.

These are way too wide. I put them on and walked right out of them. I wear a B (medium), and these are more like a D. I will have to return. Too bad, as they are really cute.

These shoes run very small. I am a standard size 8, but my heel was off the end of the shoe. I loved the color!

This is an expensive looking shoe with great quality as is to be expected with most Frye products. Feels extremely snug at first, but don't worry, the leather loosens up with wear. No arch support whatsoever.

If your feet are wide at the front, they may not fit. My pinky toe hangs out of the shoe. But crazily enough, I love them just the same, and wear them day in and day out. They couldn't be more comfortable, and I love the color. They were expensive, but worth it.
