The pre-worn look is what these sneakers are all about. It surprises many of my friends when I tell them they're brand new. The construction and comfort seems to be pretty good. Not as much as a cushiony feel but it keeps your feet in balance for the daily chores. I'd say the end of the day feet feel is just about the same as a Converse All Star.

This is the worst shoe I have ever owned! The quality is terrible! I spent a lot on these, and the soles are falling off. The insides of the shoe are also breaking into little pieces. My Converse shoes outlasted these.

Got these for my husband, and they look great on him! I'm trying to up-market his casual style. The shoes are well made, with beautiful leather. I wish the blue were just a tad lighter in color (his pair seems a little darker than the picture), so it would stand out more. He did have a little rubbing on a toe the first day, no problems since. He has wide feet so they are just a little narrow on him, but pretty good considering it's not actually a wide size. He wears an 11, which is what we ordered, and he thinks they're a little long but wouldn't want to go smaller because of the width. Overall I'd say these shoes say "I'm casual but classy, and not flashy."

I like this pair from top to bottom from the leather laces to the leather toe cap. The material used is supple & the whole shoe just fits right. I wear it all season long with my khakis, jeans & when I'm adventurous with my wools too. Comfortable since day one. If you love Chucks, you'll like these.

I loved the style and quality of this boot, but it wasn't slim enough for my narrow feet. I found the boot to run long as I usually wear 8.5 but this 8.5 was too big. I also didn't like the thickness in the area around the ankle.

I owned these for about 4 months before the sole essentially fell off. The front bottom portion was completely open to the elements. This show is NOT worth the money. This is a very good looking shoe with absolutely horrid manufacturing. Furthermore, I typically wear a 12, and had to order a 10 before it fit.

I've had these shows since 12/3/2013 and only wore them from December thru April and then just for the last couple weeks - less than 6 months. While still looking good THEY ARE FALLING APART. The bottom sole has separated from the sidewall of the shoe in a 4.5" length, exposing the interior. This has happened to both shoes in the exact same place. Now whenever I get near any kind of dampness (small puddles, dew on morning grass, etc) my toes get wet. The fact that both shoes have separated in the same place for the same 4.5" length tells me that this is at least a manufactures defect. Given other peoples reviews I would say this is a symptom of the overall quality of the manufacturer. For shoes listed in the $100+ range I WOULD NOT BUY THESE AGAIN. I've had Wal-Mart shoes last longer for a fraction of the price. I cannot say these are quality built. The premium price tag doesn't represent the quality in any way. My 4yr old Skechers Farris Boyden, a similar shoe which I replaced with these Frye's, are holding up 10x better. Verdict: Spend your money on a different brand all together.

I'd also recommend: Skechers
