This purse is absolutely fantastic. First the quality - the leather is beautiful - it's smooth yet really soft, and the color is very rich. The overall craftsmanship of the bag looks amazing in terms of stitching and materials. The style is awesome too. It has some great little details, and the brass hardware is not too bright or flashy. I love the bucket shape, which actually holds when you carry it - the bottom doesn't sag too much. This bag is pricey (more than I wanted to pay) but it's worth every penny - it looks just as nice as any designer bag that costs 2 to 3 times as much. I couldn't be happier!

Just received this bag today! It's gorgeous! Extremely well-made. Details and hardware are very sturdy. Roomy and comfortable on the shoulder. I bought the purple. Cool, stylish color. Well worth the price. I usually buy another brand of "designer" bag, but their winter collection was boring me... I am loving this bag excited to put it to good use. Beautiful!
Brands I'd also recommend: Coach, Marc Jacobs

I loved the color and the styling (the tassels are a bit much for me) but the super heavy zippers were rough on my hands and very clunky. They remind me of the zippers on my Carhart jacket that I use for work. I might have been able to live with the zippers, but sadly, the bag was just too small to fit my 13 inch Macbook Air and a few file folders, which was the reason for the purchase.

I love this bag! It is the perfect size, shape, and weight to carry normal purse stuff, or also to add an iPad and Kindle as well, which is how I travel. I bought the purple, and it is a gorgeous color, not too bright, just right. It appears to be well-made (I just got it so I can't vouch for its durability yet), and the interior has the right size pockets and zipper pocket. It hangs well both as a cross-body and shoulder bag. Just fabulous!

About Frye
Frye's current Harness Boots are rooted in tradition and continue to draw influence from the Cavalry. Today the classic Harness Boot holds a place in American culture. The Frye Harness Boot has been pictured in fashion spreads internationally. In 1938, on a trip to Washington, D.C., John A. Frye's grandson and namesake met a U.S. Navy Admiral who confided that he had trouble finding the Wellington boots he liked so much. As a favor, John agreed to make him a pair. Frye continued to fill requests for these boots through the Second World War. During World War II, Frye supplied thousands of servicemen with Frye Wellington boots, known as Jet Boots, by mail order.
In the 1960's, Frye reintroduced the Campus Boot, from its 1860 original, featuring a bulky toe and chunky heel that came to epitomize the attitude and the style of the 60's and 70's. There was nothing like these "new" Frye Boots on the market, and consumers began to demand "Original Fryes." When searching for items to represent the America of the 60's, the Smithsonian Institute chose a pair of Frye Boots.
The quality of all Frye shoes is timeless. For almost 150 years, Frye leather products have continued to be benchcrafted from the finest full grain leather uppers. It takes over 190 steps to make one pair of Frye boots. Frye remains dedicated to the commitment of craftsmanship for which Frye boots and Frye shoes have been known for more than 100 years.
