The ankle band was way too loose on me which made them look weird. Otherwise, they're really cute and seem like they'd be comfortable.

These sandals are cute and comfortable! I ordered them for the summer but I've already introduced them to spring! The contrast gold stitching goes perfectly with the gold accessories of the season. Definitely trendy!

This is such a cute shoe, but runs pretty narrow. My foot was about 1/4" over on both sides at the first metatarsal area. It looked pretty bad, so I returned them.

About Frye
Frye's current Harness Boots are rooted in tradition and continue to draw influence from the Cavalry. Today the classic Harness Boot holds a place in American culture. The Frye Harness Boot has been pictured in fashion spreads internationally. In 1938, on a trip to Washington, D.C., John A. Frye's grandson and namesake met a U.S. Navy Admiral who confided that he had trouble finding the Wellington boots he liked so much. As a favor, John agreed to make him a pair. Frye continued to fill requests for these boots through the Second World War. During World War II, Frye supplied thousands of servicemen with Frye Wellington boots, known as Jet Boots, by mail order.
In the 1960's, Frye reintroduced the Campus Boot, from its 1860 original, featuring a bulky toe and chunky heel that came to epitomize the attitude and the style of the 60's and 70's. There was nothing like these "new" Frye Boots on the market, and consumers began to demand "Original Fryes." When searching for items to represent the America of the 60's, the Smithsonian Institute chose a pair of Frye Boots.
The quality of all Frye shoes is timeless. For almost 150 years, Frye leather products have continued to be benchcrafted from the finest full grain leather uppers. It takes over 190 steps to make one pair of Frye boots. Frye remains dedicated to the commitment of craftsmanship for which Frye boots and Frye shoes have been known for more than 100 years.

I love every inch of this shoe. So cute and really surprisingly comfortable, the only iffy spot was the braiding at the toe. It's a little stiff, but I'm counting on it loosening up over time. The zipper ankle is just the cutest thing ever and the leather on this shoe is super soft (except for that smidge on the front of the toe). Keeper!

These are so beautiful and I've gotten so many compliments! They're also incredibly comfortable. I bought the natural and the silver accents look great since I always wear silver jewelry. And they go with just about everything!

These sandals look sexier than pictured they are comfy and different. I wear a size 11 ordered a 10 just to see if they would fit and they actually fit perfect so I guess they run big.

Amazing shoes. I have a wider foot and these fit perfectly. If you have a very narrow foot or slim ankle may not work as well but normal/wide foot, shoe looks amazing! Most comfortable sandal I own.

These shoes are beautiful. However, the silver stitching detail on both sides of the front strap cut into my feet immediately upon putting the shoe on. It would have been torture to try to wear them for any extended period of time. Also, one of the zippers kept catching on its flap both going up and down. Too bad about the shoddy quality because they were very pretty on.

While these were gorgeous sandals, sadly I had to return mine because the ankle piece was too tight around my ankle and there is no way I could've walked around with it cutting off my circulation. Very sad.

I love the style, but they are so uncomfortable. Am not sure the Frye designer actually wore the prototype before sending it off for manufacture. An expensive mistake, but I still wear them, despite the pain! The front strap on both sandals rubs the outside of my foot. The ankle strap hits the top of my ankle and rubs there too. Skinny ankles means no support so they flop about. The back zip on one of them keeps falling down when I walk. Still...with the silver and natural leather they look great, I guess that's the point!

Beautiful shoe, quality construction. However, these felt about a full size larger than marked. I typically wear an 8 or 8.5 and even the 8 was a half size too big.

These shoes took my breath away with their gorgeousness! After reading the reviews I had my fingers crossed size 9 would fit my size 9 foot. Sadly they were a half size too big and I'll be returning them tomorrow.
