I own a pair of Frye boots and love them, but these clogs did not feel good on. Much too tight in the instep (but I have a high instep, so it might not be a problem for you). I bought the Ugg clogs instead and love them.
Brands I'd also recommend: Ugg, Born

Love Frye shoes and this one is no exception. The heel height is perfect for comfort and just that added bit of height. I wore them with a thin sock and they were very comfortable. Liked it so much that I bought it in grey and smoke.

I've been eying these clogs for some time and finally broke down and ordered them. I will send them back! The top of the clog where the buckle is located is just too high. My foot does not feel secure in the clog and feels like it may slip out. So back they go.

These are beautiful clogs that are well built. They also look pretty on the foot. The top of the mule was ¾" to 1" higher than my foot. The mule was also a tad short, I normally wear a size 8 (which is what I ordered). A 9 would have been out of the question. I have a medium to narrow foot. I really wanted these mules to work! I gave them five stars in all categories because if they would have fit, they would have been comfortable and they are beautiful.

I really wanted to like these, the inside did not feel at all like it was the shape of my foot and there is no cushioning.
Brands I'd also recommend: borne instead of these for comfort

About Frye
Frye's current Harness Boots are rooted in tradition and continue to draw influence from the Cavalry. Today the classic Harness Boot holds a place in American culture. The Frye Harness Boot has been pictured in fashion spreads internationally. In 1938, on a trip to Washington, D.C., John A. Frye's grandson and namesake met a U.S. Navy Admiral who confided that he had trouble finding the Wellington boots he liked so much. As a favor, John agreed to make him a pair. Frye continued to fill requests for these boots through the Second World War. During World War II, Frye supplied thousands of servicemen with Frye Wellington boots, known as Jet Boots, by mail order.
In the 1960's, Frye reintroduced the Campus Boot, from its 1860 original, featuring a bulky toe and chunky heel that came to epitomize the attitude and the style of the 60's and 70's. There was nothing like these "new" Frye Boots on the market, and consumers began to demand "Original Fryes." When searching for items to represent the America of the 60's, the Smithsonian Institute chose a pair of Frye Boots.
The quality of all Frye shoes is timeless. For almost 150 years, Frye leather products have continued to be benchcrafted from the finest full grain leather uppers. It takes over 190 steps to make one pair of Frye boots. Frye remains dedicated to the commitment of craftsmanship for which Frye boots and Frye shoes have been known for more than 100 years.

Perfect dream come true shoe! I have a wide foot & high instep, have spent most of my 40+ years in moderate to severe foot pain from poorly made/poorly fitting shoes. Have tried everything from inexpensive, to very costly couture shoes. Until I discovered Frye, all I could wear was Ugg slippers/boots, heavy/clunky Dansko clogs, or old-lady sneakers. Thank God for Frye! I wear Frye boots all winter, and these clogs (in Sand color) are a gorgeous, go-with-everything, dressy-heel shoe for all Spring/Summer. They have a platform in front, so the heel looks beautifully high in back, but the height/angle of my foot/heel is tempered (lower than it looks), making it all-day comfort wearable. So many women compliment me, say they look expensive, ask me what shoes they are, where to get them, etc. On me, the entire shoe fits perfectly. Snug but stretches to custom-fit with wear. Built to last - I expect to wear these life-long, with re-soling if/when needed. Very versatile - great with jeans, shorts, and/or corporate/office wear (I am a Master's level professional). If you're on the fence, get these while you can, while on sale, best meny ever spent on a pair of shoes. I'd give them 100+ stars if I could. By the way, once I "discovered" Frye's, I tossed the entire rest of my closet (save 1 pair of sneakers for working out, & 1 pair of Ugg slippers for bedtime). I now have about 10-12 pair of Frye, they are all I wear, 95% of my life.

As much as I like the style of these shoes, they are really uncomfortable. The leather is very, very stiff and is really hard on the foot. If I wear them too long I end up with blisters or other rubs on my toes. I had hoped that after wearing them for a while they would break in, but I've worn them for some time now and they're no more comfortable than in the beginning. If I had to do it all over, I would have returned them when I first got them and not spent the the time trying to break them in.

I love the Frye look and the mule/clog option -- but the leather is really hard and the toe box is smaller than it looks. Also, the leather is more distressed than it appears in the picture.

I have worn various styles of Frye clogs for ten years. I love the quality and heel height, but these run small and extremely narrow in the toe. I ordered my usual size and was very disappointed with how small they were compared to say Dansko clogs.

I love these clogs! They are so well made. I returned a pair of Uggs due to poor quality defects, dye all over the heels. These are night and day in quality, some of the best quality that I have seen in 20 years. This leather is really thick so they will take a while to break in. They make your feet look really tiny and are super cute. These are my first Fryes now I want some of their super cool strappy high heeled boots. I have wide feet and they are tight new with heavy socks but fit amazing barefoot or with a thin sock.
