I love Frye shoes. The low loafers. These are great looking. I am having a little tightness in the left one and am "breaking" it in. Others I have had have been the greatest casual (with jeans) shoe ever.
Brands I'd also recommend: nothing like a Frye

I didn't get these shoes from Zappos, but they are awesome! So chic and comfortable! They are really worth the price because Frye shoes are really well made and will last forever! I can't wait to wear these! I bought them in my normal size 6.5 and they are a tad bit snug, but they will stretch a bit.

These shoes are very cute, trendy and comfortable. No breaking in time needed at all. However, I have concerns about how they'll hold up. The construction doesn't seem to have the same quality as a typical Frye. They do stretch out a little bit, mine were a perfect fit out of the box but after a month of use, they are a little loose. I also feel the price is a little steep for what they are.

The stitching to the right of both of my big toes rubs and can be a little uncomfortable. I am hoping that problem gradually resolves as I wear these cute flats. If not for that one spot I would consider them a pretty comfortable pair of shoes. Nicely made as well.

Comfy loafer. I slip out of lots of loafers, as my feet are on the narrow side, but these stay on just fine. The stitching is noticeable on my toes, but not really uncomfortable. Love the blue, as it\'s so hard to find navy shoes. Got the same size I get in most Frye boots and it was good.

About Frye
Frye's current Harness Boots are rooted in tradition and continue to draw influence from the Cavalry. Today the classic Harness Boot holds a place in American culture. The Frye Harness Boot has been pictured in fashion spreads internationally. In 1938, on a trip to Washington, D.C., John A. Frye's grandson and namesake met a U.S. Navy Admiral who confided that he had trouble finding the Wellington boots he liked so much. As a favor, John agreed to make him a pair. Frye continued to fill requests for these boots through the Second World War. During World War II, Frye supplied thousands of servicemen with Frye Wellington boots, known as Jet Boots, by mail order.
In the 1960's, Frye reintroduced the Campus Boot, from its 1860 original, featuring a bulky toe and chunky heel that came to epitomize the attitude and the style of the 60's and 70's. There was nothing like these "new" Frye Boots on the market, and consumers began to demand "Original Fryes." When searching for items to represent the America of the 60's, the Smithsonian Institute chose a pair of Frye Boots.
The quality of all Frye shoes is timeless. For almost 150 years, Frye leather products have continued to be benchcrafted from the finest full grain leather uppers. It takes over 190 steps to make one pair of Frye boots. Frye remains dedicated to the commitment of craftsmanship for which Frye boots and Frye shoes have been known for more than 100 years.

These took a little while to break in, but now that I have, I love them. I wear them every day. They are very comfortable and look great with skinny jeans or skirts. Highly recommend.

I bought the soft green color called "Leaf," and was impressed by the quality of the mocs. I just ordered a very similar style from 2 other well-known companies and had to return them because they were tight across the "last" (where big toe joint meets foot) and I could tell they would never break in well enough to risk keeping them. These, however, felt great right away, flexible leather, lovely color. I immediately ordered 3 other colors. I wear an 11 now, very inconvenient, but these did fit, and they did not gape on the sides, either. Really nice shoes, probably will look better with every passing year. I couldn't be more pleased.

Absolutely loved the shoe...at first. But after having them about 3 months and wearing them maybe 1 - 2 times per week, the sole has already worn off the heels on both shoes (yes, I pick my feet up when I walk). SO disappointed because they were really GREAT shoes while they lasted. However, at this price, not worth it. As always, I still LOVE ZAPPOS - not their fault of course.

I bought these in Leaf first, then later ordered 4 more pairs, all of which had extremely dirty cording sewn around the front. Totally unacceptable, and nothing like the first pair. The cording is not sinew, so if it gets dirty, it will stay dirty. This isn't a Zappos problem, this is a Frye problem since it occurred on 3 of the 4 pairs. Very sorry to have to return these, I was so happy with the first pair.

I really love these shoes! They are really cute and comfortable now that I\'ve worn them in, but they are really expensive for the style of shoe. At this point they are working well for me, but I see the rubber tread wearing off in the near future.

I love this shoe, it's comfy and it looks great. Order at least a half size smaller though the leather really stretches out after a week of wear. I'd say it will stretch about a finger's width; so it should be snug at first. That at least was my experience. I made the mistake of ordering my normal size and throwing the box away because they fit. A week later the shoe was falling off my feet because it stretched out. I re-ordered half size down and at first it was tight but now it's perfect. It's a beautiful shoe, casual but classy.

These shoes are very comfortable. They seem to run true to size or 1/2 size large. I wear an 11, so can't compare with the 10.5, since they don't make one, but I think they'll stretch. I got the Leaf color which is really a dull olive, greyish, khaki green. It probably functions as a good neutral, but wasn't what I was expecting. The lacing is only leather in the matching color. The lighter, tan lacing is actually rope, which will show the dirt.

First, Zappos is great! I received the shoes within days of ordering, even at the holidays. The insoles of these shoes pulled up within two weeks of wearing them only occasionally, so I am sending them back.

I love the look of this shoe. It's also well made. I usually wear a 7 and have tried both 7 (way too small in the toe area) and 7.5. The 7.5 was still very tight across the ball of the foot -- the white stitching cuts right into the big toe joint. It doesn't feel as if it will stretch enough to be comfortable, so I am sadly returning them. Thanks to Zappos for having such a good selection of shoes and giving such good service!

This shoe is very comfortable and light on your foot. I found it to run half a size big but I also have a very narrow foot. I ordered this color thinking it was brown (like it is in the picture) and it isn't. Its more of a tan/light brown. Unfortunately, I've noticed, from looking on other sites, that the color you see in the picture isn't what you get. The shoes are actually much lighter and not as rich in color. That aside, I like the shoe very much, I just have to try to find the right color.

This a great comfy shoe. I have wide feet and fits really nice. only reason I returned shoe, one shoe rubbed my heel wrong, and it wasn't the stitching. It was probably my foot that was slightly off.

Wanted to love this shoe, but too narrow for my wide feet. Although the leather is soft, it doesn't appear the shoe will stretch due to the thick stitching along the toebox.

These shoes run large so size down and they'll stretch out. The big negatives -- the colors are inconsistent. No two reds are even similar. One will be dark red, the next rust. Even worse, every drop of rain shows on the leather. I applied mink oil to protect from staining -- didn't help. Saddle soap -- didn't help. I'm calling Frey. First time I've ever encountered this.

So disappointed! I loved them when I opened them. I loved them when I tried them on (a half-size smaller is good for wearing with bare feet or footies) and they look great. But they hurt so much! Do you see the stitches along the top? They look great on the outside, but they're not lined on the inside, so all of those hard leather loops dig into my feet. I've already worn them out, so I can't return them, and now I'm stuck with shoes that really hurt. Frye should know better -- all they had to do was put a soft liner over the stitches, instead, it seems they cut corners and didn't for one second consider comfort in their design. I strongly urge you to look at a different pair of shoes!

Loved the burnished type color, but shoes had practically no arch support. They are very narrow. I have 2A feet and even checked the box to see if they were a N or M.
