I wish I could get these in every color. These are the most comfortable shoes I own! From the very first day you wear them, you will adore them. No breaking in period. In addition, they are adorable ballet flats. I currently own them in black and a brushed gold metallic, and find myself reaching for one of those two pairs almost every day. I have owned the gold metallic for almost two years now, and they still look brand new, and have held their fit beautifully. Wear them with anything you wear ballet flats with. My personal fav is to wear with skinny jeans. Do not hesitate to buy; they are worth every penny!

I ordered these shoes because of the style and leather lining. I have high expectations of the overall quality. I read the reviews before purchasing my first pair. At age 64, I am lucky to have very good, healthy feet and no need of support. I take an 8.5 - 9 Narrow shoe, and chose to order a 9 in this model. They feel just right! They wouldn't stay on my feet if I ordered a full size up, as recommended by many customers. My big toe is right up to the end of the shoe, but they feel very comfortable. If your feet are narrow, I recommend buying your normal size!

These are very comfortable shoes that make you feel almost like you are barefoot. They do run small, so I ordered one size up and they fit perfectly. I have gotten several compliments on them and they go with everything.

I was a ballet dancer when I was younger and I just knew I\'d love the style and fit of these shoes. I ordered a 9 and I am usually either an 8 1/2 or a 9. The 9 was a little snug but they have stretched out a bit and are comfortable. I do wish that they were a bit cheaper, but I am pleased with the purchase overall.\r\n

I felt these were a little snug so I'm ordering the next size up. I will take in to consideration some people felt they stretched out a bit. So maybe snug at first is okay. I was definitely hesitant on spending this much on shoes that look just like the ones I got from Target for probably one fifth the price. The quality is better though.

From New York’s social elite to movie star icons and even royalty, all have flocked to French Sole’s unpretentious haven for the best ballet flats found anywhere. Via its iconic store and globally through its FS/NY brand, French Sole sells a wide array of ballet styles in over 300 treatments, ranging from animal prints to its own exclusive materials. Fusing true fashion with cozy comfort, French Sole puts the emphasis on proper fitting.

The design of the shoes is what makes French Sole stand out from the plethora of companies that have sought to emulate their formula for success. Only French Sole combines a true ballerina fit (each shoe molds to the wearer’s foot) for the ultimate in comfort with cutting edge fashion and a selection that is unmatched – qualities that clients come to expect and appreciate from French Sole Shoes. But aside from the myriad variety of ballet and other shoes available, it’s the people behind French Sole that have really made it a success.

French Sole Shoes is owned by Randy Ochart, who has passionately focused on designing, manufacturing and marketing the hottest ballet flats in the world from Spain, Italy, France and Brazil. When asked about the future of ballerinas as a category, Ochart explained, “In a phase when it seems that everybody feels the need to re-invent the ballerina, we stand alone as specialists. The extraordinary factories we have worked with for so many years understand the distinction between a ballerina and a flat shoe with a string attached.” The fit, look, and “hand” of a ballerina is what French Sole is about, not just a hot trend.

I love the comfort of these flats! I've been looking for a pair of flats that wouldn't be so narrow! I have somewhat of an average wide foot. These flats are perfect. They make my foot look just perfect. I've received a few compliments. I'm astonished, since I bought the plain suede ones. So I can only imagine how many compliments Ill get on my next pair! I'm an 8 1/2 with a thin pair of socks or pumps without socks! and I wear a 9 nine if I'm using a thicker sock with the shoe. So I read the reviews stating that they run small and I went with a 9. They seem just perfect on my bare feet, not too tight. I can tell they'll be great after a few wears. I highly recommend these flats to anyone. Stop searching! These are perfect!

Not for all day walking! I felt so guilty buying such expensive flats but once I tried them on, they were so darn comfy I had to keep them. So we go on vacation and me and my flats spent a lot of time walking, and well, the width is great. My feet are small and wide so I thought it was adorable that the shoes looked like my feet before I even put them on! Unfortunately, it was a bit rainy one day on vacation and the suede didn't hold up so well. I'm going to find some suede cleaner (?) and try to fix my little spot o' water. Also, we did a lot of sightseeing and I found these shoes to be a little on the uncomfy side on the top of the shoe, probably because I was still breaking them in, and my little toes wanted to be in open-toes that day. But overall, a good shoe. I would be a lot more happy about this purchase if these shoes had been about a third less. To me, that's what they are worth.

I am in love with these shoes! They fit my feet perfectly and are so cute, for dresses, skirts, or jeans. They are 100% true to size. I am definitely ordering them in other colors! I just needed some cute brown flats, and I got these in the Brown Tejus. Definitely 100% worth it!

Such a cute shoe. Too bad it's too wide. I have somewhat narrow feet, but usually standard widths fit me fine. These are just too wide. Also, as said in other reviews, they really feel like a slipper and not necessarily a shoe with the kind of support I would want if I was walking around in them all day.

A great shoe, I have received several compliments on them. I wish I had ordered my true size, not 1/2 size larger. They seemed to have stretched out a bit since I bought them.

I bought these shoes because the reviews were good, and I was looking for a good pair of flats. I got them in my normal size, and admittedly they were a bit tight when I first got them, but after about a week they were stretched out a bit, and really comfortable. I am a ballet flats queen, and I wore my last pair of ballet flats 3-4 days a week all day. They were made of cloth, cost me $30, and held up for nearly 3 years. I bought these shoes 4 months ago, and already the upper part of the shoe has unattached from the sole. I feel obligated to wear them since I paid so much for them, but I must admit I was disappointed in the quality, and I am back in the market for a good pair of black flats.

Cute flat shoe. Sloop is almost like a slipper, so if your looking for support to wear these all day you might be disappointed. \r\n\r\nI ordered 1/2 size up and it fit snug but after a few hours wear it now is perfect. \r\n\r\nI did order 2 other pairs of Sloop, both in the same size and each pair fit a little differently. I needed to return one pair because it was to big.\r\n\r\nCare should be taken if you are wearing it outdoors. The shoe has very little sole and easily picks up dirt.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Perfect fit! They are the cutest, most comfortable flats ever. They're simple, but I wear them with just about everything. It took about 1 week to break them in, now they fit like household slippers. I've gotten them for my sisters as birthday presents. Would recommend, for those looking for everyday flats, to run errands in, run about with the kids, or even for casual work place.

I ordered these shoes up 1/2 size like the previous reviews recommended, however, they were tight across the top of the foot. So I sent them back and ordered up another 1/2 size and they were still tight across the top of the foot. Other than that, the shoes were very soft and comfy, but I was afraid they’d be too big if I ordered another 1/2 size larger, so those went back, too!

These shoes are beautiful! The prettiest shade of green that I\'ve been searching for all season, and the fit is perfect. I went one half-size up from my normal size and they fit like a glove: no break-in necessary.

Because the shoe fabric is soft it fits smaller; my usual correct size was gaping at the sides on my foot. The smaller size fits like a glove with no pressure points.

I love these shoes so much I own them in three colors: black, brown and red. They are super comfortable from the first wear and I have only had minor rubbing/blister issues. They break in quickly and feel like slippers. They do stretch a bit so it would be advisable to order a 1/2 size down. I am pretty brutal to my feet, living in flats, chucks or 4 inch heels, so I don't mind that these have very little padding. If you have sensitive feet and/or plan to walk long distances in these shoes, I would recommend some sort of insert.

I have been looking for a pair of flats for a long time and have finally some that look cute and are comfortable. I have wide feet and these look and feel great. My only complaint is lack of arch support, but I guess this is expected with a flat shoe such as this.

I just love these shoes! So cute, so comfortable and they go with any outfit. No blisters or achy feet, like with most other flats. This is the second pair I've purchased; I'd love a pair in each color. They tend to run about a size small, so be sure to buy the next full size. I also used Dr. Scholl's inserts to add some cushion to the shoe. It's worth the extra money if you're going to invest in the shoes. I also used a suede protection before wearing them, just to be safe on rainy days. Great shoes, worth the money!

The most comfy shoes ever. I love these shoes. They are so comfortable. They don't have much support, though, so if you need support, these aren't for you. I usually wear a 6.5-7, but I ordered a 7.5 after reading the reviews here and they fit perfectly.
