Fred Perry Polo size - Thanks Zappos for adding Fred Perry to your line up! I own two Fred Perry polos and love them both. I'm 6'1 195-200lbs with an athletic frame. Both polos are size L and they fit perfectly! Be advised that on the polo washing instructions it says "do not tumble dry" so you to hang dry them.

Fred Perry Polo Shirt - Always hang dry, but do not actually put the polo on a hanger. Store your Fred Perry's by folding them. Hanging Fred Perry Polo’s with a hanger ruins their shape.

Fred Perry Polos - I now own 15 Fred Perry polos, including the four that I bought today in the sale at their shop. I bought a grey one tipped with blue, a green one tipped with red and white, a plain blue and a plain green. All fantastic colors and the usual Fred Perry very high quality. A guy can never have too many polos in his collection. I have 60+ polos; including Hugo Boss, Gap, Lacoste, Benetton, Sisley, Pierre Cardin and Cotton Traders - but Fred Perry are the best!

About Fred Perry
Fred Perry soon developed the business with Wegner by making Fred Perry polo shirts. The Fred Perry logo was skillfully merchandised by offering these polo shirts to BBC cameramen, whilst Fred Perry and Dan Maskell both wore them when commentating. They gave polos to all the leading players; it was the era of Hoad, Rosewell and the young Australians, who were only too keen to get their hands on these new items of clothing, since they looked better than the baggy, ill-fitting alternatives.
It was a clever and successful marketing initiative. People became aware of the Fred Perry logo and associated it with Wimbledon, the world's premier tennis tournament, and the world's finest tennis players. The Fred Perry polo shirt hit the jackpot. It was a good product; customers saw it, liked it and bought it. The construction of the cotton piqué shirt, with its open honeycomb stitch and great fit, made it perfect as performance wear for tennis and soon became the shirt of choice for several subcultures throughout the world.
Being very popular among youth again, Fred Perry once was the shirt of choice for several distinctive groups of teenagers throughout the '60s and '70s. Skinheads and Manchester's own 'Perry Boys,' a group of violent football supporters, were among the subcultures that made Fred Perry shirts popular. Although those days are long gone, the Fred Perry laurel logo (usually found on the left chest of the polo shirts) has remained an important staple in the style of today's generation. Especially popular in the indie subculture, the signature fit of the Fred Perry shirt has proven to bridge the gaps of diverse demographics.

Great shirt - Fred Perry polos are far superior in fabric quality, style and fit than Lacoste, Polo or Ben Sherman. They run small so order a size up.

Fred Perry Polo Review - Ordering from Zappos was great! Very easy to place and complete my order. Very easy to locate the item I wanted. When I got my Fred Perry in the mail it was exactly what I expected, and I received it in one day...free! As far as the shirt itself goes, it's a Fred Perry. It's not my first one, so I kind of knew what to expect. The only question was what size to get. It has been many years since I have actually had one in my possession, so I couldn't remember how it fit. I am in between Large and X-Large in t-shirts... but more toward large. I ordered a large Fred Perry and it fits exactly how I wanted. It's more of a slim "fitted" fit. I am 6'2" (205 lbs) and the length of the shirt is short. Not too short, but if you wear your pants a little bit lower than your waste (like I do with my Dickies), your Fred Perry will go slightly below belt level. The shirt looks sharp.

I found this polo’s tag very annoying to my neck, but overall the comfort is really bad. I still love Fred Perry style though…

Fred Perry, consistently undersized. I love Fred Perry, but Fred doesn't love me. I have looked high and low for Fred's merchandise. I was very happy to learn that Zappos carried this brand. Sadly, even though I ordered the largest polo available, it was snug out of the box. I know when laundering it will shrink beyond the point where I could wear it. No hard feelings as I understand that a "European fit" is not the same as an "American fit". This is a "head's up" to those who are not built like a European.

Classic mod style from a classic mod designer. I grew up loving ska and therefore was always attached to the mod style it's associated with. Fred Perry items can be a little hard to come by, especially when you're 6'6"! However, as usual, Zappos comes to the rescue. This is one of the first clothing items I've purchased from Zappos and I really couldn't be happier with it. I ordered the XL and it's a perfect fit. I'm sure that if I threw it in the wash it would shrink down, but at this price, I would be remiss to throw it in to an industrial washer in the first place! I dry clean the shirt and it looks as good as the day I bought it, and avoid any perils of shrinkage or fading.

I love this product; great gift for my boyfriend. The shirt appears to be black, but it is a really dark navy blue with lovely red and white striping.

Excellent quality polo, but they run a size small. If you normally wear a large, you might want to try medium. This was the case for me. Extremely vibrant color makes wearer the center of attention.

Nice style, good slim fit, flares out just a tiny bit too much at the bottom. I am 6'6" and the XL fits great, sits about 3 inches below the belt line. The slim fit is definitely key. I chose Black with the Blue striping, which really pops out nicely.

For the longest time I wanted a Fred Perry polo, even if I could only afford one. Well, I've just received my fourth. The fit is pure perfect and the length just right. And the best part is, they truly are unique. I yet have to run into someone with these colors and quality, let alone a Fred Perry. The only way I would buy a cheap polo again is if I would go camping and in dire need for a tent.

When I first received this shirt I was surprised with the material (it is like mesh). I tried it on and really liked it. A very nice shirt. I would suggest buying a size larger than normal because mine shrunk considerably.

If you're new to Fred Perry, please order at least one size larger than you normally wear. The cut is slim, but the shirts shrink considerably. I bought three and washed one first. That one I gave to my son, the other two are being returned. The shirts are otherwise nicely made (in China). Don't know if their worth 4x the price of other polos, but they do have that nifty laurel wreath.

The 'nu orange' looks like a nice mustard yellow on the screen, but it actually is an unpleasant, glow in the dark kind of orange.
