The shoes look great, but I was extremely disappointed when I wore them for the very first time to a job interview. My ankles hurt before I left the house; by the time I got home, my ankles had bled into my socks. The tops of the shoes had just cut into them all day long. I will not wear these again unless I develop an appetite for pain or land a sufficiently lucrative job (but in the latter case, I would buy some Giorgio Brutini shoes or something).

I ordered these last minute when I needed shoes with more style for my sister's wedding. Zappos upgraded my shipping for free and I received these shoes within two days of my order. I received many compliments at her wedding, and I was very pleased with the shoes. I am moving to Paris soon, and I will definitely make room in my luggage for these.

I agree with Dan W's review, they do cut into your ankles and cause discomfort but not to the point where it bleeds. I am hoping that the shoes will loosen up at the ankle area over time, these are very good looking shoes and a pretty good deal at this price. How come the scent/odor of the shoe shine wax is so freaking strong that you can smell it from another room?

These shoes are without a doubt the worst pair of shoes I have ever purchased. 5 weeks after I purchased them, one shoe developed two holes while the other developed one hole, both on the bottom. I've never worn my shoes enough to develop a hole and never thought that if I did it would happen in 5 weeks. Another issue is that they reek of leather. For 3 weeks, I had to leave them outside my door so that I could breathe inside my home. Thankfully Zappos has wonderful customer service. Invest in some Calvin Klein or Ferragamo...you'll be glad you did.

It's a good shoe for the price. They are comfortable and look great. Goes with casual and formal wear. I would recommend it to someone who looking for something cheap and stylish.

If you are thinking of getting these shoes, get them! They are worth the price and will last for a while. I had them for four months and they are are still in good condition after wearing them every other day. They are irritating at first, they take about a week to break into, but after dealing with that these shoes are good for a while.

Beautiful shoe, the sides are a little high and the first time I wore them they rubbed a bit but since then I have had no problem. I am very impressed with Fratelli's construction, for having such an extended toe, they have held up well, the have not curled up or otherwise lost their shape.

This shoe looked good and started off great, but a few months later the seam between the sole and the leather undid and you could see how cheaply they were made.
