These shoes look great, but stink – literally - they smell up the whole house. Not a normal shoe smell, but like a petroleum factory. Returned.

The shoes look great. They fit well although they were a bit tight at first. The one weird thing is that they smell. After 6 weeks, they still have a very strong new shoe smell that is noticeable by others when you wear them.

Had to buy my husband shoes for a funeral, these were great. He said They were comfortable, easy to wear for a long period of time. I'm glad I got these for him because now he has a great pair of dress shoes for any classy occasion.

I purchased this shoe for my 12 year old's growing feet. The shoe is handsomely made and age appropriate; however, it has a strong chemical-like odor too. The odor is overwhelming especially to my sensitive nose. Other than that, it looks great with his dress pants.

I just got these from Zappos, and I am very impressed with the packaging and quality of shoes. But they have a strong odor of gasoline. I wore them to work today and every meeting I was in someone asked "Do you smell gas?" I will probably return them.

1-Star for smell. These shoes are comfortable, but they stink. The oil that is used to color these shoes is horrible! My wife made me take them out of our closet. When I drive or sit at my desk all I smell the dye/oil/color. Smells like cigarettes!
