Very comfortable and stylish. I've only worn them a few times and already had a bunch of compliments. This is a great fall boot! They are perfect for those with narrower calves and can fit jeans tucked in.

I wish the heel was a bit higher, but it is exactly as described by the site. Once again, thrilled with the service Zappos offers. I have these in both brown and black. Great to go with everything. Also, the heel is actually more practical when running after little ones, so I will get a higher heal when kids get older! ;)

I have a pair of Franco Sarto shoes (size 8 1/2) that are very comfortable. So, I decided to purchase the Upton boots in the cognac and black also in 8 1/2. I received the cognac pair today. They are super soft, comfortable, and true to size. The heel is a comfortable height. These boots are definitely made for walking and that's just what I'll do. = ) As always... I love these boots. I usually wear a 9.5 wide, and these boots in a 10 work for my feet. They are very comfortable too for both standing and walking. I have been wearing them quite a bit the last few months, and they are not really showing any signs of wear and are holding up well. I think I have an average size calf, and they are snug on my calf but would probably not fit someone with a large calf.

I have had variations of these boots over the years. I love them! Not leather but really look like it but that is what makes them fit so nicely and they are very lightweight. Good for LA weather. Color is very pretty and nice lower heel height very comfortable!

These boots are comfortable. First time out in them were amazing. The foot size is true. The shaft is a bit snug for my large calves, but still comfortable. The tightness keeps them up as the shaft is very thin and will not stand up on their own.

Very happy with these boots! If I think hard about it, I might say they felt a little rigid around the toe box and arch for the first day, but it wasn't like I couldn't wait to take them off when I got home. I wear them a lot to work in an office, I feel good in them, and I feel like they look great.

I bought these boots in the mushroom color, in a 9.5 narrow, and they fit perfectly. They also looked incredibly sexy and cool. The problem, and for me it was insurmountable, was the artificial materials and the fake leather. The boots had a horrible synthetic smell that did not go away after several days of "airing" them. Hated to send them back but they stunk up my closet! You really do get what you pay for. For me, it's back to real leather.

I really like these shoes, but I am disappointed in the color. I ordered them in the mushroom and they are a dull, disappointing, almost greenish brown. Other than that, these are good shoes. I am a little under 5'4" and it comes right up to just below my kneecap, which I think is appropriate. I thought the shaft would be too long because 17" seemed like a lot, but the fit is good.

I appreciate Franco Sarto for making a nice boot out of synthetic materials. The color is a beautiful, sexy, understated dark red. Unfortunately, the fit wasn't right for me. The tops were too roomy, so they looked kind of silly.

Franco Sarto is often a great boot for my skinny legs. They aren't as comfortable as a pair of FS boots I had for over 5 years, but I don't think I'll ever replace the gaping hole those boots left in my life. Overall, still quite comfortable and I'm looking forward to them lasting a long time. Smell wore out after just a day or two of wearing them.
