These socks are great if you plan on being in a fire... Otherwise, they don't wick perspiration away at all. In fact my feet stayed wet and the blisters are still healing from over 10 days ago. I wore them with my work-western boots (I work in an office most of the day), I cannot imagine hiking in these socks.
