It fit is excellent, one size fits all is always too big. I wear 6 1/2-7, slightly narrow foot, and fox river size small is perfect. Wish you had more styles, would like a thin no show sock as well.

These are very beautiful socks, the colors are prettier than pictured, they are exceptionally warm and soft. The compression areas in the feet make them fit like a leather glove. If you live in a cold climate and just want want warm socks or for winter sports where you get cold feet these are the ticket!
These are fantastic! Low cut socks that actually don't fall off your heel!

Comfortable and a good fit. I generally don't like socks around my calves but these were very comfortable.

Zappos was fast, honest and exactly what I ordered. Could not ask for anything more.

I love these socks. Buying them from Zappos is cheaper than the manufacturer's web site and when the shipping is free how can you lose.

I bought these socks for a trip to Alaska in January. They kept my feet warm and dry in temps down to -44, and are so comfortable I was reluctant to take them off even once I was inside for the night! the field. They stay comfortable and they last- after heavy wear and multiple washings they're still elastic and in good shape. They are thick, but snug and supportive, especially in the arch, and they breathe very well so your feet stay dry. Highly recommended for hiking, camping, or commuting in cold weather.

I love these socks, and I don't rave easily. I wore them for a half-marathon--no blisters. No liners necessary either.

I bought these socks for my son in Afganistan and I received them in 2 days at no charge and he says they are the best socks he has ever had. They were recommended to him by his fellow Marines for wear over there. They work. Thanks for making his life a little more comfortable in a time when it isn't.

I have small feet and love Fox River socks -- they fit well, no chafing, and I don't have to stuff lots of excess sock fabric into the shoe.

These are excellent socks. True to size (I'm a shoe size 6), soft, warm but not too warm for early March, Midwest. Look great, feel great. This is the third style of Fox River socks I've gotten. SmartWool? I'm sending you back. These Fox River socks fit, feel and look as if they were made for me. The only thing wrong with these is that the nice blue ones are sold out! Wah.

These socks are a delight to wear with my new work boots! They are cushiony and warm and they stay up on the calf, which is awesome! The part I love the most though is that it doesn't grab the hairs on my legs. That can be extremely uncomfortable with socks that cover the calf. Thank you Zappos & Fox River for providing/making an an awesome product that exceeds its expectations!

So far, great socks! I bought these to use with my Irish Setter Choremaster Tall boots that I also bought from Zappos. These are very comfortable and help to wick moisture away and keep my feet warmer.

I like really warm socks in the winter for skiing and such. These are just okay for warmth. They are pretty, but I like a little thicker and warmer.

So far so good. The problem with these socks is that they can sink below the heel and end up uncomfortable. Not happened and hopefully won't. I like the fabric which absorbs moisture while I do low impact aerobics. Fox River is a good brand.
Unfortunately I had to return these socks. They were too tight on my calves (which are 12" at widest part), but I was trying deal with that. Then after the first wearing, the socks had thread pulls on the sides of the foot and began to develop pilling (more like "fluffing" of the knitted fabric) on the bottoms of the foot. I wish they'd worked out, and I've had luck with Fox River socks in the past, but this particular style just wasn't going to be durable. The look of the style was fine, though.
