Fits perfect. Nice slim tailored look and feel. I got them for work and already love them. I'm a 26in waist and I got the 28in and it feels snug enough that a belt would not be needed, but a belt looks better than no belt in my opinion.

These shorts are awesome, the whole Essex line is great. The fabric and stitching are super high quality. If you don't own a pair of these you are missing out. Oh and they have a little phone pocket built in!
I'd also recommend: Fox Hydro series
