Love these shoes - I absolutely love these shoes. They're adorable and can be worn with pretty much anything. I do think they run a little tight though, so I ended up exchanging them for the wide version. They stay on the foot well and just over all look comfortable on my daughter’s feet.

Great looking shoes - My daughter wears an 8.5 wide gym shoes so I order that size and received the shoe the next day. Shoe ran a tad big larger so I re-ordered an 8 for her and kept the 8.5 for later just in case I need them – seeing that I have up to a full year to return. Great quality shoe and my daughter looks adorable in them.

We get these shoes for both of my girls every year and give them to them at Easter and they are their summer church shoes. They are so cute and classic looking. These particular ones have rubber bottoms which is a new feature and a great one. The only issue is sizing. My daughter wears a solid 10 and the ones that finally fit her were 8.5's believe it or not. I had to buy and return 2 other sizes before we settled on these. Other than the weird sizing, which I struggle with every year, we love these and will continue to get them as long as my girls will wear them without complaining. :-) They also hold up very well, the older girls are handed down to my youngest who is 20 months younger and still look great!

Footmates, a classic family-owned brand, reminds me of the shoes my mother used to put me in as a child. Durable and beautiful, I can pass them down from Virginia (4) to Shanley (2)! There are mimics out there, but they are flimsy in comparison. It's not easy to find classic girls' shoes that can be worn for dress up or down and year-round so I bought up the Footmates on Zappos in my girls' sizes the moment I saw them.

These are crazy cute, but I agree with the other reviewers, they run big. My daughter usually wears an 8.5 and I got an 8 W, and she's got some room to grow (which is good). Right out of the box they were perfectly fine, no breaking in. Love the old school look and my 3 1/2 year old loves them too!

I just received this shoe for my 16 month old daughter. Initially, I wasn't crazy about this color (patent raspberry). However, upon receipt of the shoe I absolutely fell in love with the shoe, the style and the color. The quality seems top notch! I cannot wait for her to wear it with a cute plaid skirt! I'm a 1st time mom...new at this, but the shoes seem to be on the large side. Width seems true to size but the size 5 seems longer. I bought another brand (size 5) and it seems too small (must be returned). Of course not a problem with Zappos!

I bought these shoes for my granddaughter. I am a traditionalist and want a baby to look like a baby. These are the same style shoe I put on my 2 children 42 years ago. Comments from everyone were tremendous. Memories are long and everyone laughs with warmth over the choice. Very happy in all ways!

My three year old loved these shoes, wanted to sleep in them! They are a bit big, but just enough so that they will last (good considering the price).

Just a warning to those who are thinking of buying these for active school use - after about 2 months, one buckle strap has broken off and another is perilously close to breaking too. Based on this experience, I will not buy these shoes again and will look for something with better strapping hardware for my daughter's next set of school shoes.

This is the sweetest shoe. I wanted a classic shoe for my almost two year old, and this is it. It is sturdy, well-made, and adorable. I love the buckles because my daughter likes to undo velcro. We have purchased Primigi mary janes in the past, and every time I turned around, she had undone the velcro. I find that it does run a little big, and I am glad that we ordered a size down from what she would normally wear. I will be returning to purchase these in other colors. Love these Footmates!
