I bought these to replace a pair of Rachel shoes that fell apart after two wearings. I'd never heard of this brand before, but I am really glad I ordered them. The shoes are adorable, comfortable for my two-year-old, and well made. They resist scuffing pretty well, too.

Absolutely adorable! Durable and great fitting. These shoes are excellent for a toddler on the run. I will absolutely order them again in the future. My daughter looks so sweet in these Mary Janes and they go with everything! Even her princess tutus!

Comfy shoes and they look nice, however the patent scuffed off on the second wearing. My daughter wore them to school. As a dress shoe they are fantastic but not for a more active kid.

I purchased this shoe (8W) for my two year old who has a high instep, wide foot and is extremely difficult to fit. The shoe fits extremely well and has a cushioned top to prevent pressure while walking. The black patent leather is appropriate for formal wear. I will be purchasing this shoe again - in other colors.

This is the 3rd consecutive autumn that I\'ve bought these shoes for my daughter. She has a wide foot, and the wide size fits her great. They have a nice, thick footbed and the sole has held up every time. I highly recommend as an everyday shoe.

These shoes are so cute. The picture doesn't do them justice. My 3 year old chose them over much showier options. I don't know how the shoe will wear, but I have high hopes after a long morning on dewy grass. They dried out and are good as new. We ordered wide and they fit well. They are the only true mary jane style that hasn't caused a "muffin top" where her foot bulges over the toe of the shoe. They also have a rubber sole with good traction.

My 3 year old loves these shoes. They are very easy to get on and off and are wide enough. The brown is a suede so the toe box is well worn on top from her kneeling, etc. - to be expected. A great shoe.

These shoes are adorable and exactly what I expected from the picture and description at Zappos. The wide width was perfect for my daughter\'s foot. Also, the strap on these shoes is perfectly placed to accommodate a high instep.

I had a very difficult time finding Mary Jane shoes for my 2 year old daughter who has a wide foot with a high in-step. So glad I finally found these! I bought another pair for the spring already. Like other reviewers wrote, the toe showed wear after a few wears, but I really didn't mind; just happy that the shoes fit!

My daughter has a high instep and often needs a wide shoe even though her foot is not technically wide. These shoes were able to accommodate her foot. They are dressy but have a good tread and can be worn to school.

Finally, success in finding a quality Mary Jane shoe that fits! I have recently tried at least 6 different brands for my 4 year-old daughter, including some very expensive European brands. None fit properly; many were too narrow, although she has a medium width foot. A common complaint from her was that the other brands hurt around the ankle. I also had the requirement that it have a leather lining, and it is getting harder and harder to find shoes with leather inside and out these days! We received the Courtney from FootMates today and are thrilled to find that it fits, has plenty of growing room, and is comfortable! The padded collar goes all around the shoe so that it doesn't dig in anywhere. They seem to be cut a little lower so that it is not hitting the ankle, too. The shoe has a comfortable leather lining that is padded but also offers plenty of support. The toe box is wide and affords ample wiggle room. The lug sole gives a secure grip and doesn't detract from the looks of the shoe as I feared it would. It's a very cute shoe that will go nicely with casual outfits and dresses. I bought the black leather and it goes with everything except the dressiest of dresses. My daughter was recently measured at Stride Rite as a 9.5M, and that is what we ordered in this brand. It seems a wee bit bigger than the Stride Rites we have tried, but not so big that it is a problem. It looks fine and fits fine. Maybe not quite a half-size bigger. She will get plenty of wear out of this shoe!I hope that this shoe does not get discontinued! I will repurchase over and over!
