THE Traditional Dress Shoe - Timeless. As a young man, I'm fairly new to this shoe that has been the choice of quite a few gentlemen long before me. A sturdy, but comfortable shoe that has quality written all over it from the foot-hugging all-leather uppers (they conform perfectly) to the stout leather soles that last for years. I've found that in footwear, you really do get what you pay for and it doen't pay to skim in this department. The finest shoe made in the finest style to come about. The classic lines and overall good looks of this shoe will make it a permanent part of my wardrobe. Hope they are never discontinued.

The Devil is in the details. Greetings! Classic longwing bluchers abound these days. Every traditional shoemaker has more than one model in his catalogue. I have compared this Florsheim model with their direct rivals, mainly the Allen-Edmonds' MacNeil and the Alden Wingtip Blucher Oxford and frankly, none of the other shoes looks or feels better than the Kenmoor. Being from Spain, I am familiar with leather, as my country makes one of the best-quality leather in the world. That is the first detail that separates it from the rest: the treatment the leather has received in the Kenmoor, which gives it a subtle but striking look, best appreciated in the tan color, (the one I own), which by the way is handstained, (check out the larger picture to see this for yourself). The second great difference is the double leather outsole, which guarantees years of use and lasting quality. Last, is the price, which is from $70 to $75 better than the above mentioned competitors. This is Florsheim's top and most expensive model, their true masterwork and it's worth every penny.

Three and counting. I have three pairs of these shoes (and counting). I bought my first pair ten years ago when I could hardly afford them, but saw them in a store and wanted them because the craftsmanship was so outstanding. These are truely striking shoes to see and comfortable enough to wear all day long. I've just re-soled two of them for the third time and will keep on doing so until they tell me it can't be done. If you buy these shoes, you will not be disappointed. But be careful because you could end up refusing to wear any other shoe. Like me.

Fine shoe. I have a pair of these shoes that I have worn for nearly 20 years and am now retiring due to some bad repair work on the sole. The best value in a shoe I have ever had. I can't seem to find my size (15) any more. TEJ Charleston, SC

Great shoe. This is the most comfortable all leather shoe that I have ever worn. Since I need to have leather shoes that are built up, due to a car wreck, I wear this type dress shoe every day. I've worn this type of shoe for the past twelve years.
Brands I'd also recommend: This is the only shoe I've bought for twelve years.

For 119 years, Florsheim has been an uncompromising leader in men's shoes. As Florsheim celebrate this landmark anniversary, they look back, refocus and set their sites on the future. What they see is a company with a commitment to craftsmanship and fashion-forward thinking. They see a world-class brand name that consumers continue to rely on for quality, style, comfort and value. They see classic styles as relevant today as when they first introduced them. They see new looks, and more importantly, new technologies and manufacturing processes that prove style needn't be stifling. They see opportunity and, yes they change.
But they are confident that the challenges they face will make them stronger. They are determined more than ever, to live up to the standards and heritage of the Florsheim brand. 116 years is a long time to be on your feet. They are proud to say that Florsheim has not only withstood the test of time, but they remain decidedly instep with the times. So here's to a successful anniversary year for everyone...and to 116 more years of giving nothing less than 116%.
Florshiem has also successfully extended its product line to men's belts. You may now match your favorite Florsheim shoes with a Florsheim belt. Crafted from the finest leathers, these belts offer the same quality construction and style you have come to expect from Florsheim.
As our world changes, Florsheim has also focused on adding contemporary and casual men's shoes to their traditional line. They envision that future generations will look to Florsheim for dress, business casual and weekend casual shoes. One thing is for sure, there is more to come.

Kenmoor -the only shoe worth owning. I've been wearing Kenmoors for almost 20 years. I qualify as a fanatic. I have over 15 Pairs. Plain, wingtip, calf, cordovan. I preferred it with the full leather heel/vplate which was stopped a few years ago. These are not quite up to the standard that the Kenmoor style used to set, but even with some compromises that Florsheim has made, no other wingtip of its type that I have found can compare.

Every man should have a pair of shoes like these. Incredible workmenship and quality leather that matches shoes twice as expensive, with a timeless style that will never go out of style. I have 3 pairs (black, tan cashmere, and wine) and can not imagine wearing anything else. The cashmere finish leather is truly a work of art. I don’t think any other brand come close to what the Kenmoors offers for the price. In fact, few brands can match it at more than double its price. As a cheaper alternative, Dexter Madison offer a shoe that comes close to the Kenmoor at a lower price point. And if money is not an issue, Alden offers their masterwork wingtip in cordovan leather which is probably the only shoe that betters the Kenmoor, but at a price that is more than twice as much.

Top-of-the-line-class-grade-A. It's true, it's all true--everything the men above have written--the Florsheim wing-tip is unequaled, it really is top of the line; Mr. Quinlan is right, Florsheim made some changes--unfortunately--in the mid-90s, or thereabouts--but the shoe still has no equal, no other company does them so well. Well constructed, a clean, solid look, setting a firm standard. Superb!

Excellent shoe I was never a big fan of wingtip shoes until I started working at a bank. Now I own two pairs of Kenmoors (black and tan), and I am very pleased with the quality, look, and comfort. They are positively my favorite shoes. The long wing is a handsome, solid, classic style. I would recommend Kenmoor wingtips to any man looking for a sharp, good-looking, well-made, durable pair of shoes. Excellent shoe, excellent value.

Kenmoor Florshiem the best shoes of them all - I have used 3 Kenmoor long wing since 1975 and I found it very durable, comfortable and elegant. I tried to look for the old made in USA Kenmoor but instead they keep on showing me the new made in India models. I prefer the old kenmoor made in USA. I really don't know if it is as durable as the the old models. I could only make a review of the old model, which I find to be be very durable and comfortable. The only problem with it is that with time the leather on the dorsal portion where it bends when walking breaks before the sole gets worn out. I really don't know if this could have been prevented if there were products that I should have applied or instructions on how to prevent this thing to happen from Florsheim. Now I am planning to buy my fourth pair of Kenmoors, this time I'll try the long toe model. I hope the same thing will not happen to it, considering that the price has gone up since the last time I bought a pair.

A Classic shoe and a classic fit - I am far from the Imelda Marcos type. But I love a comfortable shoe. My dad used to own several shoe stores back in the 60's, so I know of what I speak. I cannot wear D (who's the nut that made that the industry "standard"?) I must wear and E or EE. To me width is the critical factor in shoes. I have wide feet, a high arch and the consequent high instep. I hate tight shoes or the need to "break them in." One does not "break in" shirts, pants, gloves, hats, so why shoes? (And by the way, what ever happened to Hush Puppies, the "pre-broken in" shoe?) I wear my shoes sometimes up to 18 hours a day. The Florsheim fits me like a the proverbial glove even when its fresh out of the box! I can't say that for 99% of the shoes I've tried. It's almost made me hate to walk into shoe stores to try on shoes for a possible purchase. The Kenmoor wingtip in wine/burgundy is still my all time favorite shoe, right along with a burgundy, classic penny loafer and the tan plain toe Florsheim. Why? Comfort, comfort, comfort and the classic look. I have worn wing-tips since 1967, since I was in high school. I even played pick up basketball in them on cement courts! The leather sole is somewhat slippery and definitely not recommended for that sport. One caveat, a few months ago I was walking in the rain, on a very smooth cement sidewalk and I nearly slipped on a puddle of water. These babies slide like Peggy Fleming on ice on such surfaces. Other than that, these are the only shoes to wear for formal and dress occasions. They truly set the gentleman apart. Why, oh why, have department (and shoe!) stores stopped selling them? When one special orders them one can't try them on or walk in them prior to purchase. I hate the hassle of shipping and handling and the disappointment of lousy fitting shoes that must be sent back. Back in the late 60's I believe Endicott-Johnson made a similar shoe but I can't seem to find them any more. Boo, to whomever is responsible for this lapse in (shoe) fashion sense. Thank you Florsheim folks for retaining a 100% leather classic. Too bad I have requested cremation, I would look forward to being buried in my Florsheim burgundy wing tips.

My favorite dress shoe - I have owned Florsheim Kenmoor Long Wing shoes since around 1972 when I graduated from college and took my first job. I buy two pairs at a time and rotate them every other day. I will resole them 3 to 4 times before I retire them. They are the most comfortable and long-wearing shoe I can find.

Best shoe I ever purchased. Classic, don't buy any of the other models/brands that imitate this shoe. I imediately bring a new pair to shoe service to get a "cat paw" or thin rubber layer, added to the sole to get extra wear on the sole. Super comfortable and I always get good unsolicited comments on the shoes. I wear my older pair (takes years to qualify) with jeans.

Amazing Shoe - This is the best shoe ever made! They are true to size and are assembled with remarkable quality and attention to detail not normally seen in these modern times. They are now the only dress shoe I will ever buy or wear. They look impressive and are more comfortable than anything I have ever put on my feet. They are well worth the money. I spend all day on my feet in these shoes and they are built well enough to look great day after day with minimal maintenance.

High Marks for Florsheim - Florsheim's long history of making shoes is demonstrated in the Kenmoor Long Wing. I'm really impressed by the look of the shoe and the quality of the workmanship. From the moment you put the shoe on you realize you've purchased a winner. I have no doubt that I will get many years of wear from these fine shoes.

Are there any other shoes? I have worn this shoe for the last 38 years. I find they give me the look, comfort and support that I need for a variety of occasions regardless if I am on my feet or at a desk. I have the reheeled and soled several times before the upper leather shows wear and must be retired.
