This 'new' style from Florsheim immediately caught my eye when I got one of the regular updates from Zappos and I quickly placed my order in my usual Florsheim sizing of 8.5, 3E. The Ashland Limited's did not disappoint in their appearance when they arrived. Usual high quality leather and finish, although, somewhat UN-usually for Florsheim, (I own several other pairs & styles of Florsheims), these were actually a little bit tight on first wearing, although they have quickly stretched and molded to my feet, and are now very comfortable. Another winner from Florsheim, via Zappos!

The right zipper was not working and it looks cheap. I had Florsheim before and they are good and durable. This one seems to have come from Big 5.

I ended up keeping these, mostly because I was tired of shopping. These boots are well made with a sole that will grip slick sidewalks. The downside is that they are bit too narrow in the toe box. If you have wide feet like me, you'll need to stretch them or break them in. Also, the sole isn't as cushioned as I'd like, but a thin insole has helped and now they're quite comfortable.

I absolutely love these boots! This is my fifth pair of Florsheim boots. I tried two pairs of other brand boots with no success. The Ashland boots could be a little higher over the ankle. I like the all weather soles and heels and them being water proof.
I'd also recommend: FLORSHEIM PERIOD.

These boots are the most comfortable and stylish boots I have ever purchased. The leather is soft and the look screams "Style!" I'd recommend these to my friends in a heart beat!

Great boots; very stylish and comfortable. Easy on and off with the inside zipper. The leather is high quality and supple. The leather lining is a very nice touch. I have yet to test just how waterproof they actually are, but until they fail me I shall give them the benefit of the doubt as Florsheim has yet to let me down over the years.
I'd also recommend: Cole Haan
