Flojos established itself as a force in the U.S. sandal arena in 1979 with the introduction of the original Flojos, a popular rubber criss-cross sandal. The original Flojos style was borrowed from a traditional design from the Mexican culture, a style that has been a favorite among fisherman, surfers and beachcombers since the 1940s. I purchased a pair of these eons ago and finally had to replace them. They didn't tear or break, I simply compressed the soles too much so they were not my soft comfortable flops anymore. I found the replacement but didn't know what size as there are no sizes printed on them. Maybe there should be on the underside of the name tag. Anyway I ordered two sizes just to be sure I had one that fit for our beach vacation. What I liked... the soles of the shoes and the material of the flat of the shoe are not slippery like my first pair. That was a great plus! However I can already see indentations made by my feet. That didn't happen with my first pair. I hope they last for awhile as they are on the pricey side for a flip flop. They are still as comfortable as all get out! I find it difficult to find a more comfortable pair and will most likely stay with this shoe. These only come in whole sizes so order up to get the correct size.
I'd also recommend: I would like to try another style as well, but I am a creature of habit so......

I absolutely love these sandals. Ibought them a few years ago. I am a very hard walker and go through sandles quickly! These ones really last. I just ordered a new pair after three years of wearing my old ones almost everyday!

I love Flojos! However this pair is significantly smaller than the last two pair of 8's that I purchased. I am returning and buying a size larger.

Love these sandals!! What an amazing feeling when I put them on. They're so cushiony, it feels like you're walking on air almost. They provide excellent support! I also have them in black! I had originally bought a pair of these in black for when I was pregnant. I was walking around in some cheapy sandals and my feet were hurting really bad. I ended up going into a sandal store in the mall and stumbled upon these by accident, because of this. What a world of difference it made for my feet! These are one of the only sandals that I'll wear now! :)

Bought a brown pair about 3-4 years ago. I find they are my go to sandal when I know I will be on my feet a lot. I'm now searching for my second pair. I love the rubber sole (unlike many flops) which makes the bottom of the shoe not slippery but be careful because if you get super wet feet (from water, not sweat) they will be slippery on the footbed for a bit until they dry some! But over fantastic! Not sure about size (the size has worn off, so long ago not real sure the size). I'm thinking fairly true to size.
