Fitzwell Reviews
These shoes are very comfortable and have lots of support. They do run short. I bought a 6 1/2 and wish I would have purchased a 7.
The heels are deceivingly high and uncomfortable. The shoes are very stiff and hard to break in, but they are pretty .
They were comfortable and cute but the paint/glue/chemical smell was overpowering. I couldn't keep them even after trying to air them out.
Exactly what I was looking for to match a fabric jacket. The sizing was spot on and these shoes are comfortable and was on my feet for several hours!
I didn't like them, they didn't feel like them hugged my foot yet the fit. So, I'm returning them. Not a pretty shoe.
These shoes are cute-cute-cute! I love them. I normally wear a 10.5 WW, in this shoe I had to move up to an 11 WW. No pinch, true to width. Did I mention cute? Return/exchange was easy breezy. These shoes have caused some issues with shoe-envy among my co-workers, but really, that's a win-win!
Love the shoe, unfortunately, did not fit me. The edge was a bit stiff and cut into my foot. I have very wide feet and need a soft edged shoe. Wish they fit, would be perfect for evening events and dressy work attire. Very nice shoe, will return and keep shopping. Love Zappos!
Just got this order today. The shoe is really cute, and extremely comfortable. I think I'll be wearing them all summer.
These work so much better than similar shoes for me that I have them in four different colors. In a 6.5W (my usual size) they're exactly the right length, wide enough in the forefoot and narrow enough in the heel, with little to no slipping in the heel. The sole is not great (no arch support, for example) but it's miles better than a lot of pancake-flat ballet flats, as it has at least some cushioning and a little hidden lift in the heel. The undecorated, minimalist style looks good with most outfits. The quality of the leather and construction of the uppers doesn't match some $150+ shoes, but for the price, it's perfectly acceptable. I'd be willing to pay a bit more for a similar shoe with more cushioning and arch support, and higher quality uppers. But I think I've tried every ballet flat available in a 6.5W, and this one has by far the best balance of looks and comfort for me.
Fitzwell doesn't fit well, as it turns out. Sadly, I ordered this shoe in an 8W since I have wide feet, but the shoe is very narrow. That is no wide! I will have to return it. Very disappointed, because otherwise, it's very attractive.
I bought this brand because the shoes come in wide width and I am delighted! I'm used to squeezing my toes into the front of most shoes and have trouble finding strappy sandals. These are a bit loose but I'm happy for the extra room and they look great on. Very comfortable and great looking with dresses or just a bathing suit. Only disappointment is that one shoe has started squeaking after only a few wearings.
This shoe was a surprise disappointment, and I tried with 2 sizes. I don't know if it's because too many other people have tried them on, but both pairs have black marks, scratches, threads coming out, puckering in the leather, spots where the color has been rubbed off as if with sandpaper, and even a deep cut. Not the normal quality for Fitzwell; I'll be on the lookout for another 4+ inch heel in WW.
Sadly, I am returning these shoes. The heel height is perfect for everyday office wear, and the rubber sole and cushioned pad seemed they would be very comfortable. Unfortunately, the toe portion is too long and pointy and does not show any "toe cleavage" for my liking - because the pair I purchased was the black patent style, they just looked too much like "a witch's shoe" (my husband agreed). I usually wear a 6.5 and have narrow feet, this seemed to fit me perfectly. This was the first time I had tried this brand, and I just repurchased a few other pairs from the same brand - hopefully I will be able to like and keep them this time.
I love these shoes. I really wanted the Stuart Weitzman Alex, but they weren't available in my size, so I tried these, and I really like them. My only complaint is that the holes in the ankle strap did not accomodate my large ankle, so I took them to the shoe shop and they put another hole in the strap for me. Other than that, they are great!
This shoe is much nicer in hand than it appears in picture, its is beautiful, comfortable and very classy.
If you try a size smaller, these might feel alright. I ordered 3 different shoes to compare to, and this is the 1 pair I sent back. Just had no desire, and they weren't quite "stand out" enough, to go to the trouble of swapping them for another try. Overall a nice shoe though. And I have bought other Fitzwells before. Just start out with a smaller size.
Very comfortable shoe, I have arthritis in my foot, very hard to wear heels, this shoe is perfect, I can wear it all day. Highly recommend them.
I have such a love/hate relationship with Fitzwell. I order them often since they are one of the few brands available in a women's 13 but each time a pair arrives they are either the best shoes I have ever had, or the worst. There is no middle ground. These unfortunately fall into the worst category for me. They are extremely uncomfortable which is hard to imagine for a plain flat! I find them to be very tight in the toes and the insole/cushioning seems to be extra cushy in all of the wrong places. Overall, just not a comfortable shoe.
This shoe was just what I was looking for - the perfect summer nude pump, and comfortable. Unfortunately, the 8 was huge and the 7.5 was too tight. I have another pair of size 8 Fitzwells that I love, not sure why the sizing isn't the same.
I did not like the hidden elastic slit on inside side of the sandal. Very disappointed.
I ordered 3 pair of navy shoes because I was having a hard time finding any where I live fully intending to return two. That didn't happen. I kept these and another pair. I like them because they are a bit dressy so I can wear them to work as well as other times. I love the arch support. They look great on my feet and are very comfortable.
