I loved the shoe. It was the perfect loafer, just too large. It fit like an 11M, so I had to send it back. It would have worked with thick socks, but not what I wanted to do.

I am a teacher, so I'm on my feet all day and I have been wearing these as my standard work shoe for years. I buy five or six pairs a year and I love them. They wear great right out of the box and when they break-in, they are softer and comfy. Perfect for black pants and also nice with jeans on the weekend. You won't be disappointed.

This is a great shoe that I simply love. The patent leather is sleek and the heel is comfortable. However, you may (or may not) need a half size larger than you normally wear as the difference in fit is "like night and day.” If one size feels too snug, it will be worth your while to try another. You will not be disappointed. Thank you, Zappos, for again making my purchase possible.

Handsome shoe, well made. Problem is with the height of the heel area at the back of the shoe--it's too low, so that you pop out of the shoe. Darnit!

These are very nice looking shoes and really wanted to keep them but I need a W for width in forefoot and the heel was too loose and kept slipping. Also the last didn't quite fit my long arch. I very reluctantly sent them back.

I love Fitzwell shoes. They have great style, comfort,and last forever. I always look for Fitzwell\'s first when looking for shoes. This particular pair felt a half size bigger than I expected.

I bought the 7.5 (my normal size), but it was too big. Sent back the 7.5 and bought the 7; it felt okay around the house, so I wore it to work. The size 7 turned out to be too small, but these are very nice, well made shoes, and a good price.

These shoes were comfortable from the first day I wore them - not usual for me. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and my feet are disfigured (wide with large bunions). I wore them to work without socks and not one blister!. Because of the shape of my feet and the width I have to buy, they were a bit large in the heel but with inserts, they're perfect! I'd definitely buy them again - a nice, polished looking leather loafer.
