I'm not accustomed to Fitzwell, so I can't comment on how this shoes measures up to the rest of the brand. This particular shoe appears to be constructed by Fitzwell's accounting department in which they spared every expense in constructing the cheapest product possible. There is very little arch support, the construction is poor, and traction is limited. The cushioning insert embedded in the insole is more of a nuisance than a pleasure, and while the leather seems supple, it doesn't justify the absolute lack of design and comfort. 3 stars overall, 1 star for comfort (could be better if they did away with the embedded heel insert, and added some arch and torsion support). 3 stars for Style.

I would not recommend this pair of shoes. The logo label under the heel of the right shoe started to come off after about a month and the glue under it is now sticking to and staining my socks every time I wear these shoes.

These aren't the best quality. For example, the leather on the side covering the elastic is noticeably curling up at the edge after about a week of wear. Still, I'm very happy with these shoes. I have a hard time finding dress shoes that fit properly, and these are very comfortable. If you can live with the somewhat strange stitching pattern; they're a good deal for the price.
Brands I'd also recommend: Clarks, Rockport

The shoe was very comfortable but did not offer much side to side support when walking. After a little over a month the silicone heel in one of the shoes began leaking. I didn't realize this until the silicone transfered from my sock to a load of knits. They all had a white cast until rewashed a few times.
Brands I'd also recommend: Borne and Clarks
