If my last purchases from Zappos made me feel like a princess and Cinderella, this shoe purchase makes me feel like a goddess. I like to call them my "little strappy numbers." The web pictures just do not do justice to the feel and looks of this pump. My work as a lecturer requires me to be on my feet for long hours during conferences. I have to look my best when standing in front of a room full of people. Besides being stylish my shoes need to give me support as I walk back and forth during my presentations, which these do. The heel height is not so overpowering as to be uncomfortable. During my talks all eyes are on me and I love it. These shoes help accent my looks whether I am in a suit or a skirt. The cross strap besides being fashionable is also functional. I receive many great compliments and may I say phone numbers on my conference review surveys from both men and women alike. They work just as well for business as for pleasure. As I lay in bed after a long day I think to myself "Thanks, Zappos, for helping me dress so well and the shipping was speedy also. I roll over and stretch and her sweet voice says to me that I am truly a goddess and I smile. I' have never have had a pair of Mary Janes that have been so right to wear.

I ordered a size 8 which is actually a half size larger than I wear and it was still short in the toe bed. My toes were crunched against the front. The width was not quite a ww as my foot was snug in it. Such a cute shoe though and sorry it didnt fit.

These were cute...a fun, updated mary jane, but a bit more "clunky" than I was looking for. The regular width was way too wide for me (I am on the narrower side). The "toe box" was also very deep, lots if space between the top of my foot and the shoe. Not much cushion or arch support, but still a good choice (maybe with an insert) for a wider foot.

I love these shoes, but I had to return them because of the color. I got the nude patent, but the nude color was a tad too yellow based instead of pink/taupe-based for my pale skin, just did not look right. That being said, the shoes were really comfortable and had a great shape. The search goes on for the right shade!
