I, too, was disappointed at first because it seemed too small, but remembered that often a slipper such as this stretches pretty quickly - and it did! I knew that a full size bigger would be too large, so I patiently wore them around for a few days and they did stretch. I'm very happy that I bought them - they are just what I wanted! But expect them to feel a half size too small - at first.

Unfortunately, sizing is off. This is a follow-up review. My typical size was at least a half-size too small, but the next size up was - yes, a half-size too big - walked right out of them. Otherwise, nicely constructed, comfortable and attractive. Perhaps they'll work on your foot. Disappointed with the sizing problem.

Unfortunately, sizing is off. This is a follow-up review. My typical size was at least a half-size too small, but the next size up was - yes, a half-size too big - walked right out of them. Otherwise, nicely constructed, comfortable and attractive. Perhaps they'll work on your foot. Disappointed with the sizing problem.

I purchased these for my 81 year old mom and she LOVES them. She says that they fit well (her feet are swollen from all of the medication she is on) and that is why I purchased the wide size and the slipper fits very well. The slipper has a rubber sole so she can wear them outside and the "fur" lining keep her feet warm all day long. I will purchase another pair for her.

Don't worry about these being small at first, as they stretch to fit. They keep my feet warm without socks. Thumbs up. The only drawback is that the leather tie came undone and I can't tie it as neatly as it came.
