This fitflop Walkstar slide leather is a keeper for me. The leather is soft, and comfortable, no need to break it in, comfort for my feet the first day I put on. I love this brand. I'm flat footed so I need arch support. I have the tan, wanted red too, but out of stock, have to wait.
Brands I'd also recommend: donald pliner

These sandals had soft leather and were decent looking. They had sufficient room for my wide foot. There wasn't as much arch support as I would have liked though.

Unlike other reviewers, I have found fitflops to run large. That is, the two pairs of clogs (size 8) I bought last year stretched within a week. I ordered two pair of sandals in this design in a 7 (I wear 7 1/2) The top strap fits fine, but I have used a shoe stretcher extensively to get the forward strap loose enough so my little toe will slide under it. I am still hopeful the will eventually fit comfortably, but so far it has been a lot of work.

If its comfort you're looking for, this is the sandal you want. No breaking these in, instant comfort is what awaits you when you buy the Walkstar Slide Leather. I own 4 pairs of Fitflop brand shoes, the clog, the slipper, the sneaker, and now these sandals. I can't believe after suffering with foot pain for at least 15 yrs. that I can wear Fitflops and walk in complete comfort! I do have to say however that these are not the most attractive sandals I've ever owned, but I'll sacrifice looks for comfort any day. So don't have any reservation about purchasing these sandals, buy them today, you won't be sorry you did!

I love FitFlops. I have worn them for about 3 years now. I love the new slides but found they run a little narrow compared to other styles. They are pretty comfortable and look great on the feet.

FitFlop slides have long been my staple for summers and travel. I'm unable to wear thong-styles, so was so pleased to find these and earlier versions. The Walkstar slide is a bit dressier, and there's a bit less of it than earlier styles and it's particularly nice in the black patent. Would like to see it in a few more 'grown-up' colors, the red, yellow and blue are not the kind of colors I fill my shoe wardrobe with. The mink and black patent make a lot of sense.

A co-worker recommended these shoes because of the pain in my feet due to arthritis. I can say that these shoes feel so wonderful! My feet would hurt terribly by the middle of the work day, now I can go all day with little or no pain! I also bought a pair in black.

I love this shoe, but don't be deceived by the claim that they are red! They are very coral - not even close to red. Kept them anyway, because I love them.
