I can’t say enough good things about both the Wichita and the Phuket sandals! I have narrow feet and an active lifestyle, but still like to look stylish. I would recommend them to anyone who needs good arch support and support of the metatarsal area, and I also get tons of compliments on how stylish they are. I bought my first pair (Phukets) several years ago when I had been struggling to recover from plantar fasciitis for almost two years. The anatomical footbed fit my foot so good that I actually think they supported my foot better than my custom orthotics. Thanks to them, my plantar fasciitis is finally gone. They are pricey, but it’s worth it to prevent recurrence of the plantar fasciitis, and keep my bunions supported, too. I wear these sandals whenever I have to walk long distances or stand on my feet a lot, and even for light hiking. Obviously, being sandals, the side-to-side foot stability isn’t there, but they are the most comfortable footwear I own. I even wear them in the house all Winter because they support my feet so well. I do agree that the toe thong takes some getting used to. It took me about two weeks of wearing them only around the house, and adjusting the thong to maximum length, but now I have no problems at all with it. Some of the leathers are stiffer than the others and therefore the toe thong is stiffer. If you tried one pair and thought the thong was too stiff, try another pair in one of the softer leathers. I also agree that the leather does stretch somewhat over time (natural for a leather shoe, seems to me). The velcro on the adjustable strap is sized for a medium width foot. With my narrow foot, I had to have my local shoe shop move the velcro after about a year so that I could continue to tighten the straps enough to fit my foot. The velcro does wear out, too, over time. That repair only cost about $10, so small price to pay for continued good fit and comfort! My first pair (in brown) lasted me two summers of almost continuous wear. Since then, I have purchased 3 more pairs of the Phukets (in silver, brown and bronze). When the Wichitas came out, I didn’t "need" another pair, but I liked the new style so much, I decided to get a pair. I was living in Germany at the time, where Finn Comforts are made. But my local FC store said they weren’t being made for the German market. So, I had to order mine from Zappos and have them shipped to Germany! Well worth it though. The straps on the Wichita fit my narrow foot even better and there seems to be added cushioning in the heel. The silver color is really unique and goes with almost any outfit I wear them with. I have had no problems with the decoration falling off. I swear by the padded version of the insoles. You can order the padded insoles separately and swap them out when the original ones get worn out.

I love Finn Comfort and have two other pairs of their shoes; however, this style was uncomfortable around the toe strap. I tried adjusting it as the shoe allows but it never was comfortable. Returned them for that reason, and buying a different Finn Comfort style.

Love Finn shoes. The price on these made me think twice however with the problems my feet have had over the past several years a better quality shoe is all that I can wear. I have virtually not taken these off since receiving them; they are wonderful!
I'd also recommend: Wooky

I have a lot of trouble with my knees, this is the best shoe I have ever worn. Expensive but worth the money, I have two pairs of Finn comfort, plan on on ordering more later in the year. Your service is superior. Thanks!

I have several Finn clogs. This is the first sandal. And just as comfy as I expected. Worth every penny. You can't beat the quality of Finn shoes. And style is good for a lifetime.
