Love Finns and have several pair. But, sadly, the Phuket didn't work for me. I have worn all sorts of thongs so I know that sometimes you have to break them in before you wear them for any length of time. Unfortunately, after just a few hours of "break in" away from home, I developed blisters between my first and second toes that became raw. Took several weeks for them to heal. I eventually tried the buckle in the other two positions but can't even walk across the house without the feeling of blisters returning. Now I can't return them and they are virtually brand new. :(

Not the thong for me -
I am a big fan of Finn Comfort and own several pairs. This sandal looks great, and the footbed is what you would expect from FC. However, the thong on this sandal does not work for me. It is too far forward. I tried the buckle in all three positions and adjusted the strap each time but couldn't find a good fit. The thong was uncomfortable between my toes in all positions, and the sandal kept sliding off my foot. In addition, the corners of the leather just below the buckle rubbed against my toes. I probably would have gotten blisters on my toes had I been able to keep them on my feet and wear them for any length of time.

Probably won't keep these -
I love the look of these sandals, but will probably send them back. They seem to slip off my foot and I have to clasp my toes to keep them on. Can't imagine that that will work for me in the long run. Very sad because they look great and feel great just standing. I was hoping they would be the perfect thing for a trip to Germany.

Stylish shoes.
Very stylish and comfortable shoes. I have a very low arch and these shoes stayed on my feet without having to clutch my toes. They have a velcro strap on top to adjust the fit. I will wear these all the time.

These sandals are great!
The Phuket - 2533 provide maximum breathing space for all your toes. A big plus is that the footbed can be replaced by stores that have the proper tool such as "Heel to Toe" in Urbana, IL (you can use US mail0. When sitting you can wiggle all your toes. The light gold/tan color is very neutral and goes well with light color clothing. I recommend these shoes for hot or humid climate as your feet will stay dry and cool. I've been wearing Finn Comfort sandals for 12 years and love each pair that I've owned. Remember that this footbed is designed so that you will not need an orthotic! Finn Comforts last forever! Well worth the price.

Great for plantar fasciitis -
This is the only brand of shoe I've discovered that I can wear without the orthotic. I suspect the orthotic can be made to fit, but I'm able to wear these as they are made. They're very comfortable, supportive, and they prevent overpronation. The arch support is nearly as high as in my orthotics, which is why they work so well.

Great sandal -
My feet have a narrow width (A) with a high arch. The other shoes I purchased from Finn Comfort (Chelsea and Hanoi) run too wide unfortunately. However, these sandals work very well, probably due to the velcro closure which provides a nice snug fit around my feet. The insole is great, with sufficient support for the heel and arch. These sandals are good for all day walking or standing.

Perfect for me!
I absolutely adore these sandals! The arch support is perfect for me and they have held up very well. I have had no chafing, foot pain, or any other irritation since I first put these on several months ago. The only time these are not on my feet is when I am sleeping! My toes love the freedom of a thong-type sandal. Since these turned out to be so perfect for me, I'm going to buy more in different colors.

Best shoe ever -
Great fit; I wear them everyday. I want them in every color, had no idea from pictures they were metallic.
Feel great!
So far so good. Consistent with some previous reviews I did get a little chafing inside my index toe on my left foot where the fit is a little snugger for me. My right foot is a little smaller than the left and I've had no problems. The arch support is excellent and I wear my sandals non stop so I expect them to hold up well and for my feet to feel great.
Great at first, then got loose -
I wear orthotics and was looking for a very supportive sandal -- most sandals are useless for me. This shoe feels very comfortable, but after a couple of months I have to admit that it is too loose. As I walk my foot wants to slip out and I have to grip it with my toes. Not cool for people with foot problems and not cool for the price. I will have to look for another sandal. Too bad, these were really cute and I got a lot of compliments.

Don't bother with these shoes...
These shoes are very comfortable on the sole of your foot, but that is it! I tried to wear them for a couple of hours and my feet had more sores and blisters than I've ever had. I don't care how much I have to pay for shoes, as long as they are comfortable that's why I bought this shoe, but I can't wear them. I should have returned them, but I kept thinking eventually I would be able to wear them---HASN'T HAPPENED YET.

I did love my Finns...
I had these Phuket sandals, and my first pair broke at the thong with in 2 weeks! (As they are only glued to the sole), and I got them replaced only to have the 2nd pair break the first time I wore them!! I dearly loved my shoes and hated to give them up!! But, because the foot bed is replaceable, when the second pair broke, the sole went down and foot bed stayed with my foot and the sole caught the pavement and made me stumble and fall, causing back and shoulder pain for several days!!

Acceptable for comfort shoes -
Ok, these are fantastically comfortable. I have plantar fasciitis and can barely wear any of my other shoes. I was depressed by the selection of what I call "old lady shoes" but these are tolerable and almost cute. Would I rather have flat thongs from Michael Kors for this price? YES, but pain is pain...better than not walking. Highly recommended for comfort...

Wow, what a great sandal! I have bad feet and have custom orthotics which makes it almost impossible to find fashionable looking shoes let alone sandals! When I found these I couldn't believe it. Even without my orthotics the support in this sandal is fantastic and it also has a removable footbed to accommodate my orthotic. Either way I win! They are expensive but in my opinion worth every penny!

It’s a very comfortable shoe especially with the "soft" footbed. It's a "must have" for the summer. In fact, I plan on buying another pair in a different color!

Grecian look sandal -
I really like the look of this sandal and the fact that it can be adjusted at the toe and the instep. The sole is very comfortable and supportive. I have a lot of pain in the ball of my foot from Rheumatoid Arthritis if there is not enough cushioning in the shoe. I can walk for hours without a problem because of the support and cushioning. The one complaint that I have is that the leather on the top of the shoe is kind of stiff and tends to rub on the top of my foot. I have gotten used to it though. I would consider getting another Finn Comfort shoe if I could find one that didn't look like an old lady's shoe. These definitely look cook with the buckle and the green and bronze textured leather.

Experience proves that this shoe is a winner!
Finn Comfort shoes were suggested as a brand to use when I developed Plantar Fasciitis so I am familiar with this style and fit. I was particularly pleased with the colors that were available since I wear this style most of the year.
